Italian FA finally came to their senses

i loved Donadoni as a player but he was one crappy manager.

in the first place i still don't get why donadoni was chosen to be the world champion's coach and he managed to prove everybody right.

but also lippi gets twice the preassure, but i'm pretty sure he knows how to handle it.

The master tactician is back! I wonder why he'd take a break right after the world cup and again return so soon. May be he was looking for a club job that didn't go his way? There was lots of fuss about him taking over from Sir. Alex when he was at Old Trafford to coach the international X1 for the charity game. Just a possibility but he's the right man for Italy. Great coach.

well, he did take his 1 year off like he wanted. maybe at his age he doesn't want to coach a club no more.

He always said he wouldn't coach and English club because he doesn't speak English. He would have coached Juve I think, but he wasn't done with his "break" when they were looking for a coach after Deschamps. I think he likes coaching the national team the best though

For Donadoni's sake, I think if Italy got lucky in PKs then they would be in the finals right now...but to be honest I don't care because Lippi coming back is what they needed, not another tournament with Donadoni

i think National team pace is better for Lippi s own sake, given his age. Not that he would be bad club manager.

italy u19s play today in the euro finals today against Germany.
Italy last won this in 2003. aquilani was named player of the tournament and Pazzini, Chiellini and Palladino were all on the team

fiorentina-juve is a good game to start the tournment.

milan-inter, 5th game of the season, a little early for a classic, isn't it?

yeah this time was random draw, like in the premier league.

they say inter has finished in the market, but i really think mourinho team needs someone to create, plus they also have 26/27 players, 4 or 5 who are not needed: figo, dacourt, burdisso, suazo... maybe even crespo because there are already balotelli-adriano-ibrahimovic-cruz and next year aquafresca or kerlon will come.

There are rumors of them swapping Adriano for Aquilani.
If they dont do that I think they should still take their pick of who to get rid of between Cruz or Adriano. both are great players and cruz has been there for so long, but he is getting really old.
They should sellSuazo too.
Balotelli and Aquafresca are two of italys best young players and they are pretty set if they have both of them in a couple years.

I hope Suazo signs with a team like Torino, Samp.... that makes Serie A a richer league, he was a monster in Cagliari, and hes a player for those teams, Inter should have never bought him in first place.

Well, Chelsea trashed AC Milan 5-0. Zalac played terrible, it looks like GK situation will give us lot of headaches this season. i wonder if any good ones available in transfer market.

yeah, i don't know why milan didn't look for a GK. no offense but almost anything is better than zalac.

actually the gk sub's from inter and juventus are better than kalac, or even abbiati.

Abbiati isn't that bad, and should be their starter.
