Best game of the tournament? Turkey-Czech Republic 3-2
MVP of the tournament? Iker Casillas
Best goal? Ibra against Greece
Best performance of the tournament? Schweinsteiger against Portugal
Most disappointing? Defending champions Greece finishing with 0 points and only 1 goal. France is close second.
Most promising player? Fàbregas-Spain&Arda Turan-Turkey
Most exciting team? Netherlands overall, Turkey for antics
Most surprising? Russia s 3-1 win over Netherlands
Best moment? Turkey s last gasp equalizer against Croatia

Overall thoughts? I ve watched every major tournament since USA 94 and Euro 08 was the best one for me. Only knock against might be lack of superstars since Ronaldo disappointed but that is hardly a problem.

MVP of the tournament? Marcos Senna, thet guy owned from start to finish
Best goal? Petter Hansson's billiard goal vs Greece :D
Best performance of the tournament? Xavi vs Germany. That was another galaxy.
Most disappointing? Greece in general. Anti-soccer SUXX!!!
Most promising player? Arshavin, he will be a superstar.
Most exciting team? Turkey and not even close.
Most surprising? Russia. I did not expect them to shine like that and knock out Netherlands.
Best moment? Semih Senturks last gasp goal vs Croatia after Rustu's super blunder
Overall thoughts?
GOAT Tournament with a strange lack of "THE" Superstar. But frankly, the great winner is offensive soccer. Who who attacks more gets rewarded, what a nice message.

He's 27, thats not really young so i dont know why you emphazise it.

But i was also surprised when i heard it first, i thought he's 20 or younger, certainly looks very young.

Best game of the tournament? :
The best, the 2 from Holland against Italy and France, but more exciting, anyone from Turkey, especially Germany and Czech republic.

MVP of the tournament? Senna and Casillas. But officially it was Xavi Hernandez.
Best goal? The ones from Holland against France.
Best performance of the tournament? Arshavin vs Holland.
Most disappointing? Portugal, i never thought they were at the level of italy or germany, but they just confirm it.
Most promising player? Modric
Most exciting team? Holland
Most surprising? Turkey
Best moment? For me it was when Holland take out France, and when Spain finally make out the 1/4's.
Overall thoughts? very good euro, unlike the last one of 2004. And the NT from my country won.

Best game of the tournament? Netherlands-Russia & Germany-Turkey
MVP of the tournament? Difficult to choose since there wasn't and individual that was a constant game after game, but it would have to be Casillas, Xabi or David Silva.
Best goal? Nihat's 3rd goal vs. Czech Republic and Sneijder's goal vs. France.
Best performance of the tournament? Of a player Arshavin vs. Netherlands, of a team Russia vs. Netherlands
Most disappointing? France
Most promising player? Sneijder, Modric & Arshavin
Most exciting team? Netherlands before the game vs. Russia and Turkey's heart, will, desire and spirit
Most surprising? Russia dominating Netherlands, Spain dominating Russia and Turkey's win over Czech Rep & Croatia
Best moment? The final minutes of the games of Turkey vs. Czech Rep, Croatia & Germany
Overall thoughts? Well I have to agree that this has been by far the best tournament I've ever seen in a very long time. All the games were pretty intense and we saw great teams. What this Euro lacked was individual players that could make the difference, the closest was Arshavin and failed vs. Spain.
On the other hand I think we saw a split moment in time for some teams. Spain finally was able to win the important games and have a great generation of players. Russia, Turkey, Croatia and Netherlands have young talented and very interesting teams for years to come. France and Italy were a total disgrace. The next 2 years will be very interesting to see how European teams respond to the outcome of this Euro.

Best game of the tournament?

Turkey - Czech Republic
MVP of the tournament?

Andrei Arshavin if the Russians had won it all, so I say Iker Casillas.
Best goal?

Nihat's 2nd goal against Czech Republic & Sneijder's strike against France
Best performance of the tournament?

Bastian Schweinsteiger against Portugal.
Most disappointing?

France/Italy
Most promising player?

Luka Modric/Arda Turan/Roman Pavlyuchenko(Didn't count Basti because he accomplished so many already, and Arshavin because he's 27)
Most exciting team?

Netherlands/Turkey
Most surprising?

Turkey's path to the semi finals.
Best moment?

Semih's goal against Croatia in the 121. minute, just when we thought we were done for the tournament.
Overall thoughts?

Even though the number of goals scored were the same as EURO 2004, the type of football played in this tournament was more entertaining to the fans(With the exception of some games). Also, for the first in a long time, Spain wasn't the team who "had a great squad and were favourites to win it all, but something had just gone wrong" .
"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is the moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious."

Best game of the tournament? Netherlands - France (most because of how great Netherlands were that game)

MVP of the tournament? Marcos Senna

Best goal? Arjen Robben vs France

Best performance of the tournament? David Villa vs Russia (first game)

Most disappointing? Luca Toni

Most promising player? Cesc Fabregas (although he already was a superstar before the tourney), Bastian Schweinsteiger also an option.

Most exciting team? Netherlands/Spain (can't decide)

Most surprising? Russia

Best moment? Turkey equalizer against Croatia

Overall thoughts? One of the best tournaments I've ever watched

Best Game of Tournament: Turkey/Czech Republic

MVP: Casillas

Best Goal: Sneijder v. France

Most Disappointing Team: France

Most Exciting Team: Netherlands

Most Promising Player: I'll try to keep this young, so I'll go with Turan/Modric. Arshavin is a star after this tournament.

Most Surprising Team: Turkey

Best Moment: Turkey tying the game right after Croatia's staff and players celebrated.

Overall Thoughts: This was the first time I've seen the European Championships and I must applaud ESPN/ABC for buying the rights to broadcast this event here in the States so that more people have access to it. Best major tournament I've ever seen.
