King Otto should be crucified if Greece has any trouble in qualifying. :(

Greece always end up with the easiest group...

And Kazakhstan already beat Andorra 3-0 a couple of weeks ago, if it matters.

That should have shaped up to be an easy group for England, but I am still yet to be impressed with Capello's squad selections or tactics, and ofcource results!.

Greece s group is the weakest group i can remember in any qualifying section. Italy should have a cakewalk as well.

Our group is probably the hardest after group 7, Belgium is a dangerous team, we ve already lost to bosnia last time around and of course european champion Spain. not to mention all the political hoopla surrounding Armenia games. i ll be more than satisfied with second place finish.

I just hope Bosnia will play respectably in this qualifying. It's going to be tough. We've got major defensive problems, not to mention the FA itself.

Greece should easily win their group. After Group 5, I'm very interested to see what goes down in Group 7. Watch out for Montenegro in group 8, very good team, from what I've seen, could easily get second.

That's what they said last time. "Oh we've got the easiest group, it will be a piece of cake for us." Then of course what happens? They don't qualify. Then they all blame McClaren and act like it was a major failure they they didn't qualify from the easiest group. When in reality they're just not that good. And in the end the only qualifying group which ended up having both of their teams make the quarter-finals of the Euros was the group which England failed to qualify from.

It wouldn't surprise me if the same thing happen this time. Some of these teams are no pushovers. It's not going to be easy for anybody to go into Kazakhstan, Belarus, or Ukraine and get a result.

Hey, at least you've got a real coach now. :D

But it's going to be tough with Spain and Turkey.

England has to beat Andorra first, before they worry about Croatia.....
Kromo, can we - Hungary - beat Denmark on Saturday?
We have a new Dutch coach, the sky is the limit!

ANKARA, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Turkish President Abdullah Gul will visit Armenia at the weekend for a soccer match, the president's office said on Wednesday, in a major diplomatic step for the two states which have no diplomatic ties.
Turkey severed diplomatic relations with Armenia in protest against Yerevan's control of Nagorno-Karabakh region over which Armenia fought Turkey's ally Azerbaijan in a war in the 1990s.
Armenia and Turkey will play against each other in the Armenian capital Yerevan on Sept. 6 in a qualifying match for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
"We believe that this match will be instrumental in removing the barriers blocking the rapprochment between the two peoples with common history and prepare a new ground," a statement on the president's official website said.
"We hope that this will be an opportunity for the two peoples to understand each other better," it said.

who said it is just a game?

Yea, Ciro is good but I believe Kodro could have been a real good coach also. What can you do though, money rules over all.

As far as Spain and Turkey, we've proved we can play with them in the past, I just hope we have improved enough to pull of some upsets. What worries me is the weaker teams, we seem to be ready for the top competition, but with lesser teams we don't even seem to try, such as against Moldova and Hungary in qualifying for the Euro.

Big LOL @ Italy and France. England sucked against Andorra, too, but that has to be expected . Scotland, Bulgaria, Sweden and Serbia didn't do too well, either.
