I don't know if I'll ever like any athlete more than I liked Thierry Henry. I watched him play with Arsenal years before I was really interested in the sports.

Wayne Rooney. Just a pure warrior night in and night out. Even when he's not scoring goals, he's back trying to win the ball. I still remember this one against Newcastle:

I don't have one favourite goal, I have loads.
Henry at OT, Henry backheel vs Charlton, Henry when he started from his own half and beat like six Spuds defenders, Bergkamp vs Newcastle, Bergkamp vs Argentina in '98, Pires vs Southampton, RVP's superman goal vs Charlton, Cesc vs Milan, Vieira vs Everton, Thuram's double against Croatia in 98, Zidane vs Leverkusen, Puskás at Wembley

There's probably at least ten more that I love as much as these.

Also bryant08's favourite one was also great. I despise Rooney, but that was fantastic and I also still remember watching that live.

The obvious one is Zidane, and my favourite goal of all-time is the volley in the CL final.

My favorite player is Mario Balotelli. I'm just hoping he can get on the pitch for once. He should be playing quite a bit as our 3rd striker next campaign.
