Small surprise is France not being seeded. FIFA's decided to use October's ranking instead of the usual November ranking this time. I'm sure the recent controversy played a major role there.

Clear weaker teams are IMO
South Africa from 1, North Korea and New Zealand from 2, Algeria from 3 and Slovenia? from 4


Also, this is the official match ball of the World Cup

France is not seeded, but they could still end up in a group like this for example:
South Africa, North Korea, Algeria and France.......

Everyone is praying for South Africa to be in their group LOL.

New Zealand is a lock to go with South Africa, FIFA will give them a game that they have a chance to win.

Slovenia is not bad, beating the Russians was no fluke.

South Africa's group = NZ, Uruguay, and Slovenia/Switzerland.

by the way I will go to South Africa for the World Cup.

I don't want anything to do with an African speed unless it's Algeria. Teams like South Africa have ridiculous speed that would carve up a lot of European defenses.

I love the World Cup! Can't wait for the summer!

i would bet good amount of money England doesnt even make it to the semis.

as for North Korea, i think they'll be dangerous with their tough defense. not dangerous enough to progress from their group but enough to steal points in a game or two. i think Honduras is the worst team from that group.

This is a probably one of the most open world cups in recent memory with the exception of Spain who are at another level right now. If I had to make a prediction right now, I'd put Germany, Spain, Brazil and Ivory Coast, my darkhorse team(sincerely no pun intended) in the semis.

Historically, they've done terrible in an away setting (Away or on Neutral grounds). I can't remember the last time they beat a quality team on either away or neutral. I can't see them faring much better in South Africa.

historically, they've managed to pull one of the biggest upsets in WC history and made it to the quarter finals only time they were in the big dance. you always want to avoid unknown teams that like to smother the gameplay with their defense.

Why is everybody saying that Slovenija is the weakest of European nations?
Slovenia had beaten Slovakia twice, but yet they are worse than them.

Also, South Africa will be dangerous, as the referees will help them reach the quarterfinals at least( see South Korea 7 years ago)
