His handles are great. I didn't expect that level of ball handling, he can go wherever he wants on the court. He can really play PG.

He has a quick release and his scoring mentality makes him a threat everytime on the court.

I wouldn't be surprised if James Jones offers him an official spot with a multi-year contract.

I read this a few times thinking you meant "two way player" as offense/defense and I'm thinking..."what"?

Yeah, I wanted to say two-way contract.

Liar!!! You knew exactly what you were implying meaning you view him more superior then a boatload of our two way players in suns franchise history. The real question is why make such a preposterous statement? :dontknow:

It makes sense to guarantee his contract and get him on a cheap 2 year deal. We're starved of developmental talent and he's easily the most talented 2-way player we've had.

The game still needs to slow down for him, but I think the potential ceiling with him is higher than Payne or Shamet. Whether he reaches it is another matter, but we won't know unless we give him a legit shot.

Seth Curry and Christian Wood are both examples of guys we had on our roster who've gone on to become legit NBA rotation players. I think Washington will become one too eventually. He's still very young. In the worst case, you can just use him as a throw-in in a trade.

If I had to choose between 'shows in contract year, injury prone' Payne and this guy, I think I pick Duane. If he can become anything like Seth Curry and remind of his brother in a few games a season like in those two big games he already had this season, he'll be a great addition.

He reminds me of a taller Eddie House. Not a bad thing, a bench gunner is useful.

Yeah, he should be a nice energy guy who can get hot. He is now over 35% from 3 for the year. None of our backup guards are particularly good from inside the arc, but hopefully he can consistently hit the 3 and get up to where Payne and Shamet are from behind the arc. Be nice to see him build on this game.
