Ralph Sampson was a 7'4 center that had a lot of potential but was hit by numerous injuries and he was out of the league at 31, Wemby and Sampson are different body builds but one could argue that Wemby is more at risk of injuries given his very light build.

Honestly, I want Scoot.

Not that I'd draft him over Wemby or anything but I just think with the PointGod on our team and Scoot also being a short (6'1) guard then there's no better teacher on the planet for the the kid. Add into it that he's getting Derrick Rose/John Wall comparisons athletically....well that sounds like a winner.

Perfect kinda player to pair with Booker for the next 10-15 years or so.

If it helps, think of it as not only Wemby. But a very potent very elite core of Guard/ Book/ Bridges/ Wemby/ Ayton. Cumulatively very very strong and to be honest also very likely to finally get more calls and benefits from the league as much as they're trying to hype him up! We'd really just need to secure a solid defensive/ playmaking guard in the 2nd round- undrafted range. And I already have a list for that unsurprisingly huh?...lol

Hey got a question for you, who do you play when we're literally trying to stay above water with 10 day contracts playing 28min?

Is it breaking news to you that we only have 2 starters available?

Bro. Shamet doesn’t have to start at point guard no matter who’s out. Might as well put Biyombo at pg with your logic.
He sucks. I wouldn’t play him if I only had 8 guys.

Shamet doesn’t have to start I agree with you but regardless if he starts or not, Monty still is in love with him and will play him his usual 20-25 min off the bench. There’s no winners here we are all aware Shamet will get his minutes no matter how frustrating it is.

Unthinkable that JJ gave up a first and is paying him a hefty salary for his production, or lack thereof. :banghead: :banghead:

Funny I just typed up a response about Hunters last night and was looking for a youtube video of the season 2 credit intro, which I liked, but couldn't find it. Just a season 1 one which isn't as good.

I'm about halfway through season 2.

Shamet has had some good games though and is shooting like almost 39% from 3 IIRC. He scored 31 twice. I think his recent experience playing more will help him off the bench.

Monty keeps Montying and we can be roughly 6th Wemby-place by Feb 1st. Easily.

9th???
I honestly thought we're now in 12th place though brother!

Right now we're positioned at the 10th overall lotto pick! But once the standings get updated and other teams gain more ground, we should be around the 6-8 range of the lottery! In that range, There are legitimate star level impact players such as:
https://www.tankathon.com/mock_draft

6- Nik Smith: Mix of CJ McCollum/ Jordan Poole.
7- Cam Whitmore: Mix of Derozan/ Stackhouse.
8- Cason Wallace: ( Jrue Holiday) or Jerace Walker (Julius Randle with better defense).
9- Keyontae George: Mix of young Eric Gordon/ Bane.
And IF we hold in this range and jump into the top 4, Then anything can happen! Even lucking into Henderson (PGOTF), or one of Amen or Ausar Thompson (both elite versatile playmaking wings with triple double potential).
Given all of our bad luck this season, We couldn't ask for a better alternative outcome!

9th place for Wemby. Go to ESPN's NBA standings, hit league, then hit the PCT button and it will reverse rank them for you.

I think now after someone won, we're actually 10th place for Wemby. But Toronto, LAL and Chicago are all within striking distance of us. We can easily be passed by them this time next week.

I just go here...always updated. https://tankathon.com/

Haha! That’s awesome. I just wrapped up Season 2 last night.. obviously I loved the first season as that’s normally the case with any tv shows/movies sequels. Glad the producers decided not to drag this show out for 4-5 seasons or maybe it’s not too popular here in u.s so they decide to call it quits. Anyhow, let me know if you enjoyed the ending of the show.

Do we play the grizzlies once more with a hopefully healthy roster for a more accurate assessment? Or are we finished in this series? who has the tiebreaker so far?

Bro. Shamet doesn’t have to start at point guard no matter who’s out. Might as well put Biyombo at pg with your logic.
He sucks. I wouldn’t play him if I only had 8 guys.

lol by your logic, why don't we just sit everyone who sucks and just forfeit the game because we don't have a starting 5

Is that my logic? Lol. My logic is don’t play Shamet. Yours is Shamet must start because we have a pg on a 10 day contract. Our 10 day is better than Shamet.

Never said Shamet must start. My logic is we have to play the hand we're dealt. Your logic don't play anyone you personally don't think is good which at this point, is almost everyone that is healthy right now
