Was gonna say, these might be the most open looks Ross has ever gotten in his career. It'll be even more open with KD

Hurts to see him do that patented 3PT celebration and not having Mikal there to reciprocate it

Will the day ever come where we see D.A hustle for a rebound instead of ball watching?

Payne looking sharp was good to see. I also hope we can keep Okogie on a similar contract. A lot of people expected Cam getting 10M, but he got around 6M.

I missed this game but caught the extended highlights and it's made me even more excited for KD's debut, he's going to take this team to another level. I feel the optimism here is still somewhat muted, but personally I think the Suns are about to go Supernova.

Right now teams are still clogging the paint and zoning up the Suns on occasion since you're playing 2 guys in Okogie and Craig who aren't really offensive threats. Now imagine replacing Craig with KD which is a historic upgrade in terms of offensive ability, everybody is going to be eating. Okogie might be the most open guy in NBA history so he better be in the gym practicing his spot up 3s.

Yeah, that’s will be the most that we can offer him this summer.

Teams that are above the cap and tax apron can make use of the taxpayer mid-level exception. They can sign athletes to contracts for three years or less, and this year, the value is estimated to reach $6,392,000.

With the cap going up probably will be around 7M per year. So we can offer him around 21M/3 years at most. Hopefully is enough.

You can overcome lack of talent, but you can't overcome lack of heart when the going gets tough.

You want guys like that if you want to make a deep playoff run. Stay healthy Cam.

Especially when he is clearly stoned. I wonder what his exact mix is when he feels the most balanced and tuned into Basketball.

Just watched the first quarter. I love Okogie. He's so underrated right now and will make it very tough for opposing teams once KD is here. He made a couple of nice passes that I am more impressed by then his recent 3 PT stroke. Booker seems to still be finding his footing. Glad Payne is back. We need some stability in the backup PG, plus he always plays with heart. Terrible that Suns had 5 chances to score to end the quarter but couldn't convert. Our bench worries me still, but I am hoping they just have to adjust to the new group and build chemistry.

Second quarter Monty started CP3 to go with the bench unit, probably hoping this unit can play better with the playmaking of CP3. Okogie doing more to impress.
