The excuses for Ayton never end. 3 rebounds is what a 6 foot guard wanders into. Some centers have bad rebound games and get 7 or 8 rebounds. 3 is tough to get even "when the ball bounces directly to another player". The people on here that criticize Ayton don't do it as "haters". It's because we realize what he CAN be, but the apologists will come out in droves to defend poor effort games. Literally all Ayton needs to do to unlock his potential is play EVERY game with effort.

Bam Adebayo is an undersized player at center, don't want him, never wanted him. Try again.

The one player I've ever really wanted to trade Ayton for is...
https://www.espn.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/3155942/domantas-sabonis

Look at those rebound numbers. Ayton can do the same thing or better if he put the effort in and made rebounding his mission.

It's only 4 or 5 mostly people who post a ton in game threads so the game threads have come to take enjoyment away from the game due to negativity even when we are playing well. Most at Ayton but you had it towards Bridges when people expected the team to carry us to wins with 7 of like our top 9 guys were out. It's just become absurd.

This is a lie until you prove otherwise. I have been critical in the past of Mikal being too passive and not really stopping anyone in key playoff series, but never been critical on his latest breakout. Actually prized him for having great chemistry with Ayton and both being a big part of the future. For the rest you are right, there are 4-5 certified Ayton haters.

Oops, I didn't mean to say "you" toward Bridges...not sure how I typed that..I meant "some".

Haha, that's all you can come with after being proven wrong. Clown. Wellcome officially to the Ayton-idiot-haters-club. Didn't know you were part of it until now.

Cool, bro. I'm an Ayton hater. Whatever you say. Enjoy sticking up for all the no-shows from Ayton.

Yeah, Sabonis is awesome. He is leading the NBA in RPG.

He averages .9 more rebounds per 36 than Ayton, so it would be nice if Ayton could get 1 more board per 36 minutes to overtake him.

Yeah, I know, but the way you talk is as if Ayton is a putrid rebounder while Sabonis is the greatest. While Sabonis is the best this year, he also plays like 15% more minutes per game, and the difference in their rebounding is pretty miniscule. Sabonis has had his own bad rebounding games too with 4 or 5 a few times.

The 4 or 5s are all when he's played like 12-15 minutes. I just want Ayton to consistently be aggressive. But apparently that's being a "hater"

No they are not. I specifically had looked and they were like 33, 35 and 26 minutes.
