I can see why the Suns don’t get calls.
Booker complains a lot. It’s pathetic to the point where I’m starting to agree with the refs at least from this game. Just play ball bro.
Too many times Booker complains about the softest fouls.
Plus CP3 always tapping. if I was a ref I’d be annoyed too.
Suns and Booker especially were getting good fair calls last night then as soon as they miss one he acts like a baby. Then he throws a tantrum for them not calling a ticky tack foul.
These guys need to stop whining all the time and man up. Seriously
The players these days are soft as charmin

Yeah, Okogie's case looks similar to Payne's. A lot of people thought he was worth 10M and his contract was a steal, but thankfully they didn't screw it like with Shamet's signing.

The Grizzlies are going to have a field day over us and if not them Nuggets win in 5 and finally get their revenge. Just a bunch of greedy unlikable players. No matter how badly we underperform fans will still be stupid enough to attend games to keep our owners pockets in the profit. Just look at kings missing 16 years of playoffs yet they still somewhat sell out their arena. The same with this team nobody would cross the suns organization even with new owner we still won’t win a title or make the finals for another 15* years. I’ve seen this same story since two decades ago. We Have good/great teams but management is incompetent and don’t fill out the puzzle for a winning product. It’s time to abandon this team and root for Heat, Grizzlies, Warriors or Mavs, been a fine 23 years for cheering this team but I can’t do it anymore.

I am like 95% certain Shamet was signed because the Suns are an over the cap team and they needed contracts to trade to improve
If this thing goes south - you have Payne, Paul and Shamet with only 27m guaranteed through 2023/24 season but are worth a bunch more on the cap I do believe - like 47m. But this is before July 1
Shamet will not be a Suns player one year from now - if I had to guess

I don't think signing players to bad contracts for trade purposes is a good practice. Why would you want a guy on your roster with negatve trade value?

Yeah, it was not a good signing. Expirings/non-guaranteeds do gain some value for teams looking to shed dollars (as you know) but besides that you never want to give out contracts like we did to Shamet. It's in the same vein as us signing Josh Childress a while back. You're hampering yourself for the duration of that contract and only in the last year will there be a possibility of moving it.
