We already know about Nurkic against Jokic, he knows how to play him on both sides.
Jamal Murray is their X factor and he is out of shape and on a shooting slump...yeah, it's the preseason but if you add his terrible play for Canada in the Olympics might be a serious problem.
And Ryan Dunn seems perfect as his primary defender because he can bother his shot with his length and lateral quickness.
The Nuggets lost KCP too and I think that was a HUGE loss on a short roster. I can't envision Westbrook playing very well for them and his lack of shooting will be a negative for sure.
Denver still has a great coach, great system and the best player in the world (imo) but they've lost depth year after year while relying more on the young guys who may or may not be able to step up. I think their floor is still super high but I don't quite see them as having the ceiling as they've had before. Like I still think they can win it all just having the best player, a solid but not as deep team, great coaching and enough continuity but with the West getting tougher and Jamal not looking great so far (although he has a history of turning it on later in the season) I don't have them as a tier 1 contender like I did last season.
