I never realized how much of a turnover prone player KD is till he came to the Suns. Guy turns the ball over so easily, it actually makes it look kind of easy to just take the ball from him. He had a game high 7 turnovers today which is crazy considering Suns aren’t even asking him to do any playmaking since we have Tyus and Booker for that.

A Nets fan that watched him his whole tenure in Brooklyn said this about KD and it kind of makes sense a little

He can’t pass the ball out of double teams to save his life

His bbiq gotta be the lowest in entire league , he makes the same mistakes often running into double teams then blames his teammates for this

He got no Leadership values whatsoever , Draymond wasn’t wrong

The Nets are a team that doesn't do much well other than shoot a lot of 3's and make a lot of 3's and they did that while not having almost 18% of their 3PA on the court. On the other hand, we're one of the better teams at limiting 3PT attempts and they absolutely roasted us from the perimeter tonight.

Even if we didn't have a poor 3rd quarter, this was just a poor showing from the team given the talent disparity.

The Nets are 9W-11L for a reason. They did not have Cam Thomas, that’s true, but the strength of the team is their pressing defense and 3p shooting...It’s working pretty well all season long for a young team.

I mean, I agree that it was a disgusting loss and we have more talent than them BUT we can't act like we lost to the Tanking Sixers from 2015.

We are gonna have some unexpected losses here and there, the important thing is to learn about it and reduce the number of it.

How many of those wins did they have without Cam Thomas (left hamstring), Bojan Bogdanovic (left foot), Nic Claxton (lower back injury management), Noah Clowney (left ankle sprain), Day’Ron Sharpe (left hamstring strain) and Jalen Wilson (illness)?

This is probably the worst loss for any team so far this season. Stop trying to justify it.

I can tell you that Bojan Bogdanovic and Day'Ron Sharpe haven’t played a single minute this season yet. And Nic Claxton has already missed 7 games.

They have depth. They don't have any All Star but they have plenty of middle of the pack players ala Dorian Finney-Smith and a solid group of hungry youngsters who can make you struggle on the open court.

The Suns are the better team but it’s not embarrassing to lose against them on a back-to-back.

"Both," replied Beal when asked whether his ankle or calf was bothering him.

Honestly, I think when you start sitting guys for fear of injury (unless they are still recovering) and have that thought always hovering over your heads, it doesn't do anyone any favors. It might seem counterintuitive, but it seems to me the guys who are extra cautious about playing and don't play in b2bs end up getting injured a lot more than guys who just try to go out and play in all the games once they are healthy.

But this game should be an easy one given all the injuries. Otherwise the Nets have played a lot of people tough.

I doubt they will really need to play a lot of minutes.

In this instance, i only meant more as part of the recovery for this situation, not as a sustained habit. They've been out with muscle injuries and have been monitoring how they respond to activity. Now they play their first game and immediately have a b2b right away. Just thinking maybe having a recovery day after that first game might be beneficial, while moving to playing every day thereafter. The team would obviously know better than me though.

You know, I think you might have been right...

Turnovers, lazy defense, cant stay in front of Schroder, no energy. B2Bs suck. Also no excuse for not being ready.

Such a weird game. Nurkic trying to dribble through 3 guys...some of his mistakes dribbling/passing through people are head scratching. KD too, but I'm a bit more used to it as he handles the ball a lot so I see it happen more...though of course he's not as bad as it as Nurk.

Then other times it seems like people were not that into it. Grayson Allen was shocked to get a pass in the corner once, even though he was open. A lot of weird stuff like that.

We must have been extremely overconfident coming in after that beatdown the night before and then knowing their top guys were out.
