Isn't Paul George the truest worst contract in the league?

This season: $49M
2025/26 - $52M
2026/27 - $54M
2027-28 (PO) - $57M

He is 34 and looking OLD out there, and it's only gonna be worse in the next few years. Ryan Dunn enjoyed the matchup.

If FO misses on Butler they can always throw unprotected '31 at George.

Beal in attack mode felt good, where the hell has this been. Book and KD were off with the change (hopefully that's the reason), maybe they settle. Plumlee was ass as a starter, Oso looked motivated. Dunn looked motivated also.

Ryan Dunn quietly putting it together out there.

22 years young today.

Alot of potential conversations on who we could use our 2031 pick on if we can't land Butler in a trade. But for my part, what's most important to me is really two things:

1- Whoever we trade for a singular big contract or multiple returning pieces ( leaning towards this premise more). The most important detail is that he or they won't have attached " No trade clause " with them. So we could make moves.

2- We absolutely SHOULD NOT under any circumstances, send out our 2031 1st without at least top 4 protections on the pick. Maybe even top 5. Right now, this Beal 6th man role is a functional option for us, and we're not as desperate as we might have otherwise been. But NEVER EVER should we give up an unprotected future first knowing our very limited dismal future just to try and get a temporary solution now.

It's because of the very limited options going forward that Ishbia left this franchise in with a very bleak future, that means we should under no circumstances reward another team with a potential top 5 lottery talent for doing nothing more than opportunistically picking our bones clean like a vulture when we are hopeless and at our weakest!

We need to stop choosing to be on the losing end of trades. We need to be firm and strong in not just passively giving up the gery last assets we have that could be critical to helping us turn things around. Being wreckless/ careless is what got us here from our owner's rash decisions. We must be tougher in trades. If the trade isn't good- great for us, we need to look elsewhere or hold for something better/ different.

Yeah, I notice it every time....I remember him staying hunched over like that. I don't know if they come untied a lot or if it's a mental thing like Nomar Garciaparra had.

I have seen in basketball and soccer players lose their shoe and continue to play. Beal just taking the play off looks weird to me.

It looks weird and he obviously tries to do it when action is away from him but there has been a time or two where he could have maybe gotten the pass on offense if he wasn't tying his shoe. If he does it getting back on D it is usually finished before the ball gets down there. It must just be some mental thing if they are not coming untied.

But I can honestly tell you that I was never on the hype train since the KD trade.
