Filipowski is also a rookie, so there's that. Kessler is a defender. We need that. He's basically a younger but better defending Plumlee. Which would you rather have between those two?Saberestar wrote:SkyBill40 wrote:Yes, we are watching the same game. And their output or play in one game is a pretty small sample size from which to judge and basically call them subpar. They both have something we lack and that's size.Saberestar wrote:Are we watching the same game? Those guys are nothing special compared to other young players in the league.
Markannen of course is a very good player but Kessler and Filipowski? We are taking advantage of them on defense and on offense they are limited players (Kessler is dunk or nothing).
And it doesn't really matter how they score so long as they do. Kessler and Filipowski also play defense, though they're getting worked a little bit today by quicker guys. And Ighodoro is extremely limited as far as shot selection: He either throws up a floater or doesn't really shoot at all. His jumper shooting form is some of the worst I've ever seen.

Filipowski averages 5.8 ppg shooting 29% from 3 so I am not impreesed at all. He is BAD at defense, plain and simple.
Kessler very good shot blocker but like Is said superlimited on offense, it’s not a secret.
