Best news all offseason getting BB back especially given our cap situation, dude is a baller and loaded with potential.

Also... not sure if anyone has looked up Bol's stats for the year. But he had a 70% TS, ORtg of 130, DRtg of 112. Shot 42% from corner 3 (only 32 attempts though), 93% FG% shots 0-3 feet, 68% FG% shots 3-10 feet. I think he was underutilized under Frank Vogel and I'm hopeful coach Bud can get Bol to have a career year.

Bol is potentially ridiculous, and we're fortunate he's decided to stay here despite our pauper status with the new cap rules. Here's hoping he shows out this season and we can offer him a proper contract. He's a top 6 rotation guy on a NBA title team talent for sure.

Yep

If he balls out as well this season, we'd also have far more money to throw at him so for him to accept another min (with a slight pay bump) with us is awesome. That said, I do wonder what kind of market he had if he didn't sign with us. The fact that he resigned with us relatively quickly gives me the notion that it was probably pretty weak despite a pretty decent post-AS run

He likely assessed this roster and realized he could get more court time here than elsewhere. Its up to him

Four of his fives threes made were from the corner and most of his positive plays came from the corner or the baseline.

I really like his potential playing that stretch 4 role occupying that side of the floor, the corner three, cutting close to the baseline and the dunker spot.

I would love to see him in different situations and check what we really have here. Playing in the corner has its limits, as the baseline prevents you from being a bigger offensive weapon. I do not know whether he is getting out of the role he has been assigned to, but he is putting the ball on the deck, going to the middle of the paint, finding passes to open teammates (all that KD and Booker should have been doing for two years now and that is what made Kawhi a star and them just scoring machines, as basketball is still a team game). When the defense has to content a 7-3 guy who can pass over almost anybody, keeps his dribbling alive, has court vision and a decent shooting ability and quite a nice capacity at getting to the rim, then that defense has to collapse and open opportunities for other players.

I would love to see him playing sometime as a PG or, at least, assuming a central role in the offense. Hey, we have nothing to lose, we are going out of the PI, KD is going to be traded, we want to get rid of Beal and we need some brightness here for cheap. Bol can fill in that creating role here and there (he is not going to be worst than Tyus) and then play a major role in the defensive end as he did against Olynik and other players.
