I thought he was hurt.

Cody's defense has been just what we needed and fundamentally on defense he does all the right things and gets his hands on a lot of loose balls.

Overall playing faster with younger, hungrier players might just have turned the season around although it will be super tough just to make the play in. Next season we need to get rid of D.Lee, TyTy, Bol Bol and Beal and get even bigger and add more youth and athleticism although it will still be super challenging if we aren't waving Cody Martin.

Great effort, but still too little to late! This is typical modus operandi of this franchise. They do things like this in the waning moments of the season to pull the fanbase back in to only epically cave in embarassing fashion and rip fans hearts out.

I really wish it wasn't the case, but this is typical suns "fools gold" just like every season for the past 5-6 decades. They will give you entertaining games like this every now and again as part of the illusion. But the season reflects our true inevitable outcome.

As I've said before, how many games could've been completely different outcomes if coach Bud hadn't suffered from Monty syndrome playing favorites and "icing out" Dunn and Oso for a large part of the season. If that hadn't have happened, then we could possibly be looking at a much different record and seeding situation.

It is sad that we won we might have to endure watching KD, Book and the gang for a few more years.

As juicy as those trade might be, KD still has it. Wait, wait I will say it. He just increased his trade value.

Two Stars and the right role guys + a tough guy is what works in this league and always has. Sorry if it ends up ruling out trading KD and Book, thanks to the young guys doing all the dirty work. Actual both Book and KD are playing much harder and better. Our rebounding has been fantastic.

Can't wait for the return of the Great Bradley Beal. He will bring out the worst in our real Big two and Bud will have to sit one of the three rookies. What will our championship coach do?

Beal is and has been the guy that needs to go away. It is a shame we could not make that trade with Miami for Jimmy Butler while sticking them with Bradley Fricking Beal

What the hell is this Monty Syndrome. He played the youngsters on the team and was pissed when we traded them for KD.

He did not like Ayton's effort or Crowder's attitude when he did not get an extension on his contract and lost his starting job to Cam Johnson.

I just do not get the hate on Monty. He certainly was not perfect, but I think everyone enjoyed watching the Suns while he was here. Why do you and others continue to take shots at Monty is beyond me. His time in Detroit was not all his fault. They had a horrible roster and in the off season they got a new GM who fired him and redid most of the roster with some very good draft picks and some good free agents.

Can't wait to get swept by OKC!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Well, that was an amazing experience as a Suns fan!

First and foremost this was a TEAM WIN. Every player on a Suns uniform contributed positively to the W tonight.

This new starting five has everything that we need to have a perfect balance between defense and offense. Gillespie, Dunn and Oso fits NICELY next to Book and KD because all three are active, athletic, smart and low usage players and they allow Book and KD to take care of business on offense.

KD in particular played an OUTSTANDING game tonight. The Cavs players will have nightmares about him at night lol. Atkinson didn't want to double him and he made them pay.

I can't say enough good things about Gillespie, Dunn and Oso. All three did their job and a bit more. Oso was our only C available and he delivered a big time performance doing all the little things on both sides of the court.

Oso is the king of intangibles at his early age. He reminds me of Boris Diaw and I can tell you that I was underestimating him... until tonight. 44 **** minutes.

Book didn't have a good shooting night but his effort and 10 assists were huge for the win.

And then I need to talk about our backups. Tyus, Royce and Cody Martin killed the Cavs bench.

I am in love with Cody's defense and all-around game. I think he is a keeper for next year.

Well, well, well..finally a win against high quality team. Probably helped a bit by Cavs coasting at the end of the season just like 64 win Suns team. I'll take it. KD feeding off of rooks energy unlike in Lakers game when he looked disinterested. Good to see, even if only to increase his trade value. All we can root for is extend the season with a few more games for entertainment and give a worse pick to a conference rival. Still a lot of work to do with Blazers and Mavs winning their games.

Huge win. It took some great shooting, but glad we could pull that off starting Dunn, Oso and Gillespie. I always said I loved Gillespie from his signing, and thought Oso was overall our best big, so glad they are getting a chance.

We'll see if it can continue against Milwaukee and Boston and then heading on the road for most of the rest of this stretch, aside from Houston and wrapping it up at home vs Golden State and then OKC, who may rest players since it is the 3rd to last game of the season, though they could have to play it to ensure they have HCA vs a potential finals matchup with the Cavs, who are only 2 games behind and have a few easy games coming up. The Cavs have somehow lost 4 in a row.
