Re: Dillon Brooks news and discussion
Brooks gives me the impression he's more of a Pat Bev type who'll give you 100% no matter what team he goes to. But who knows

Re: Dillon Brooks news and discussion
The whole "you'll love him if he plays for you" is such a crock of **** that sports fans say.
Bitchmade players are bitchmade. Unwatchable players are unwatchable. Floppers who **** on the integrity of the sport are floppers who **** on the integrity of the sport.
Anyone who hates any player only to love them when they come to your team means that your hate for that player is shallow, superficial, and specious at best.
You can be all the things that "Brooks is supposed to bring" without being a punk bitch. His entire existence is shameful and embarrassing, and that's the last thing a franchise that's already shameful and embarrassing should want to import.
**** this guy.

We lived through Raja Bell and Danny Ainge eras. No problem at all with Dillion. He is the definition of culture setter for a team. Our defense was pathetic last season. Hopefully refs will let our team be more physical because of his presence.

I think he is a very good fit next to Booker. And the team needs what he brings. That said, I think he will be traded at the deadline. His contract number isn't too bad - 20m ish

I only see a trade If the Suns are not competitive. Really the same could be said for Grayson and O'Neale. Building defensive culture is critical in order to return to relevance. Its obvious Suns want players with dog mentality and intensity. Two years of Brooks would help development of Dunn, Maluach, Oso, Brea, and Fleming plus any picks we get next year. Brooks has obviously made an impact on Green's defense as well which we would hope to continue in improvement. Maybe Brooks will rub off on Booker who has seriously slipped. We know Booker can play adequate perimeter defense based on his Olympic play last year.
With KD and Beal gone and a new coach/GM who are looking for dogs like Brooks and going after long, rim-protecting big men, I am more hopeful about overall defensive improvement of the entire team.

You would want a bunch of soft players. We need an enforcer , leader, vocal, and we finally got one. Keep crying Frank

Re: Dillon Brooks news and discussion
When I see Brooks, I think of what PJ Tucker did for Booker's development. That nasty, gritty defender that rubs off on the rookies who care and take things seriously. These young guys look hungry already based on this first summer league game. Hope this is the start of a serious culture movement tied to defense.

Who’s crying ? You don’t quite know it all yet. Grind your ax elsewhere.
If I’m a Gm shopping the Suns, I’m asking for Brooks for all the reasons you boner him up.
