Now this is a good pickup. One could argue he is more reliable and trustworthy than Marcus Smart is at this stage of their career. The ceiling is lower with him than with Smart but the floor is way higher. He was so good for the Lakers towards the end of the season

Full Mandela Effect. Could've sworn earlier in his career he was listed at like 6'5 maybe 6'6 but I just checked and dude's 6'3. Thiccer than Goodwin but more or less same height. I thought Smart was measurably taller

Smart definitely looks bigger and stronger, but he can barely move. I didn't watch him play a single game in Washington but last I saw him play in a Grizzlies uniform he couldn't keep any guard in front. I know he's only 31 but legs don't get fresher as you age. I think those that think he will regain his Boston's form is wishful thinking, still a solid defender, not at all-nba level anymroe.
