People here putting too much stock on summer league games. Who cares who plays or who doesn’t it’s not that important. What is importing is how the team stacks up in their first 30-35 games to get an idea where they might be once the season is over. Regular season minutes>>> summer league minutes
Any day of the week.

These guys are projects. Especially Maluach. If you are trying to win they won't see big minutes in first 30-35 games. SL games are not the greatest indicator so let's wait for preseason to gauge how much they will be able to contribute during regular season or need time in GL which is not much different than SL.

He wasnt as impactful on the boards today as some of the other games. Didnt get as many looks generated for him today. He continues to be unable to really create shots that arent spotups but he did have one nice drive & kick for a corner 3 today. Otherwise he looked like he has before, I think.

Hes all over the place, which is both good and bad...just kind of a box of chocolates (never know what you're gonna get) on whether the places he gets to are the right ones. His activity level is high.

He plays hard, runs the floor with purpose, chases offensive rebounds...his defensive event creation (stocks) is good but I think it tends to come at the cost of tunnel vision on the ball, which leaves him out of position a lot.

I dont see the change of direction/footspeed to be great at containing dribble penetration as the primary defender, seems like he'll be best served as a backline helper (provided he learns more discipline).

Looks reasonably comfortable shooting from the corners, shooting from above the break looks like it will take some time.

Feels like he has a better sense of where he needs to be on offense, where he has much less skill. While he has more ready talents on defense but has a harder time knowing where to be on that end.

Hes older and has a more mature frame than someone like Maluach, but is nonetheless going to be a project IMO.

In my opinion, Boogie Ellis has earned a spot as our 3rd guard option on a two way contract. The other two players that I'd also keep for our other two way slots are CJ Huntley and Brandon Angel.

So Basically our 3 two way contracts allowable should be looking like this:

1- Boogie Ellis.
2- CJ Huntley.
3- Brandon Angel.
** If Angel isn't signed, two names I'd look at for size and floor spacing ( both at 6'10) are Jackson Moni and Ben Humrichous.

Maluach's Per was 8.7

The most generous evaluation I can make for Maluach based on his SL performances was that he didn't impress me

Before Summer League we had already our 3 players on two-way contracts signed for the season.

CJ Huntley
Koby Brea
Isaiah Livers
