Would we be better with GH coming off the bench?

Sure, Hill scores as a starter ('swhy he was a starter). But Boris clearly doesn't do as well off'a the bench. Hill, on the other hand, came in and kicked some booty in the 3rd off the bench.

So we can have Hill producing as a starter and Boris not producing as a bench player... -or- Boris and Hill both producing as a starter and bench player, respectively.

I think having Diaw start helps us defensively as well.

When Hill starts, it pretty much forces Shawn to guard a big. Raja and Grant take the swingmen and Nash pretty much has to guard the opposing PG. There are no real alternatives.

But when Diaw starts, he usually takes a big, giving Shawn a smaller, quicker matchup. Marion can guard the SF. Or Raja can guard the SF and Marion can man up on a guard. It gives us more flexibility with our defensive matchups.

We'll find out if DA agrees: tonight we have a big game, and they're both healthy.
