I saw that, interesting.

For those who don't know/follow College Basketball..
Bob Knight, the winningest NCAA men's division I basketball coach in history, has retired as Texas Tech's coach effective immediately.

Knight, 67, won his 902nd game Saturday when the Red Raiders downed Oklahoma State. He will be replaced by his son, Pat. Knight informed athletic director Gerald Myers of his decision Monday morning.

Knight won three national titles at Indiana, in 1976, '81 and '87. In all, he took the Hoosiers to 24 NCAA tournament appearances and reached the Final Four two other times.

This may very well be followed by some terrible news, ie some crime he committed or something.

Hopefully it's something to do with his health and not some harm he has done to anyone else. This guy is a top shelf a$$hole.

Bob Knight is the perfect college coach, apart from his one big obvious flaw having a terrible temper, he graduates more of his players than most other programs, wins everywhere he has gone, contributes money to improve educational facilities, has never once been investigated for rules infractions indeed he doesn't even believe in using the slightly shadier means that are allowed in recruiting etc by the NCAA and even gave back his salary one year because he didn't believe he had earned it.
