To be honest I don't know how Mike Miller would help this team. I know I've suggested that we need a shooter first, but now with Shawn and Raja shooting at their normal percentage, I wouldn't trade Shawn just to upgrade the shooting but downgrade our defense and rebounding. Let's just say any Matrix deal that doesn't give us a defensive and rebounding big man in return is a bad deal. I'd take Camby, but I don't think Denver would do it...other than that, I don't know. I'd rather take the chance with Shawn.

We don't need a major trade to get a big. IF, and that's a big IF, Sarver is willing to use just part of the TPE to get a serviceable big man that would be enough...nah, Sarver won't do it.

let me tell you how getting him would help you (and us - the lakers).

you'll be keeping him away from the spurs...

if you ask me, barry+filler+1st rd pick for miller is right around the corner.
and i DON'T like it AT ALL...

If Suns would try to keep Miller away from Spurs, they would get Artest instead of him. And I bet that you don't like it too.

GREAT POINTS!

(SARCASTIC)

While it is absolutely true that Gasol, Bynum, Odom and Kobe, ALL need the ball to score....

lemme ask you this..

Do any Suns Players need to ball in order to score?

LOL

^^^ We have Steve Nash one of the best playmakers in NBA history to ensure everyone gets to score.

Nash is perfect for your system to provide that, if in fact not the system itself really, but when the Lakers pass and share the ball and trust each other we play our best. Lots of guys can knock down shots this year.

If the Lakers turn into a Kobe shoot / Pau shoot, with little ball movement team, then we will not be as good as we would need to be to get far in the playoffs.

The second half of the season should be a wild one though. Your guys schedule looks relatively friendly and have a serious shot at being the #1 seed. Someone else mentioned it, I agree in thinking that these first round match ups are going to be pretty important with so many good teams in the West.

hmm, let me see

when was the last time you saw bell dribble the ball more than 3 times in any offense? or marion for that matter? there is 2 starters already who dont need to hog the ball to get their shots, they work off the ball and then get it in position to score. Heck, our top scorer in amare this year hardly creates for himself either, he is the receiver off of pick and rolls and open jump shots more than anything

odom kobe and gasol are 2 players who need the ball, need clearouts, to go one on one or pound the ball for 5-8 seconds each time they get it and try to work out whats going on

The suns have 3 extremely capable passers on the team who will get the ball to the player in the right position and not rely on that player getting themselves in position when they have the ball (ala odom gasol and kome)

No disrespect to your post and what you said is right. But actually Lakers are now being able to move without the ball. And of course someone in the Offense needs the ball. Nash needs the ball in order to make these guys score. I think amare is a very nice finsiher. But when Suns get set in a halfcourt it gets extremely more difficult for Amare to score more effecitvley. One thing that kinda bugs me is I see Amare play and dosen't really have a post move in his arsenal. Like a go to move. And I would like to see him add a go to move.
But anyways, Radman,Sasha,Gasol,Kobe,Bynum are actually all learning to move without the ball. Radman has been shooting lights out as a spot up shooter, as Sasha as well. Bynum is getting those lob passes and finishing. While also he can go one on one if needed. And Kobe and Gasol look like they will be working on that Pick and Roll more. And its looking nice.
With the best scorer in the NBA by our side, anything can happen.

I realize the recent activity has caused an increase of bragging Laker fans, but that post is not cool.

Visiting Laker Posters: Keep your comments civil or don't post here. This is the Suns' board. I know you guys don't like trolls on our board so don't be one.

Any Suns fan.....well any fan for that matter, who thinks the Lakers are scoring 107.1 PPG because Kobe hogs the ball is a bonafide idiot, doesn't no basketball, and doesn't understand the triangle offense. If you watch how we dismantled you guys the first two games this season, that was pure triangle. Ball movement, open looks, floor spacing, cutters....your cherry faced coach even said it himself. When the triangle is working it's impossible to stop. And now that Kobe has places to go in the triangle, you can bet that the offense will be more fluid than ever.

Get over it Suns fans....you guys are finished. I sure hope Snaq can lead you to a championship....
