More PT for Diaw

Post#1 » by Togo » Fri Jan 25, 2008 5:21 am

Why don't we use him more at PG. Around 7-10 min per game. It would spell Nash, give us some more mis matches on O, and maybe, just maybe give Boris some more confidence with the more touches he gets. We could try to trade Banks, and Tucker for an unused Atlanta, or Seattle center in case of foul trouble. Not saying it would happen, just a thought.

Any Thoughts?

Because he would get killed on the defensive end. He just doesn't have great lateral movement even for somebody his size. He always seems to be a step off when someone his height is driving.

I think going the switch on offense is the right thing to do and/or giving him space at the high-post when Amare is off the court.

Would love to see the Diaw2Marion alley come back.

I thought you all knew

The Suns have been trying to trade Banks for 2 years now, nobody wants to take on his contract.

Hmm, am I saying anything new to you.

Looks like you got your wish, but not like you were expecting.

Banks averaged 12 minutes over 24 games and Marion 36 minutes a night. That leaves alot of minutes that no way Shaq fills.

I have tickets to both of the games here in Portland and really interested in how this works out.
