Even if we do with the title this year, and this trade works out, winning will not be as sweet without him and not as enjoyable. I have never been this depressed about a trade...I miss him! :(

I'm glad that I'm not the only one...

Same here. I'm not ashamed to admit that I've physically lost sleep since this trade went down

It's called moving on, sure it sucks for those who really loved him, but he's not coming back, so might as well get amped for Diesel.
-Not hating here, just saying, you're going to be miserable if you're gonna be depressed over this forever.

Uh, why?
I'll bow down to Shaq and then some if we win it all (If he does put us on top) and would enjoy this even more because everyone (outside of Suns fans, reall) is doubting this and saying he's done.

^^^The thing for me is that if we win it all, it gives the impression that we NEEDED a big guy to get over that hump, where I am a believer that it could have been done without that BIG guy. Now, we will never know.........not with this Suns team anyways.

I hear what your saying BJ, but also keep in mind that it isn't just fans outside of Suns fans that are doubting this. I think if you are a realist you can see what is trying to be accomplished by this move, but you can also see that it is a HUGE risk. Pun intended.

Yea, I wouldn't have minded being known as the first team to win playing run n gun, small ball.

Yes I'm sad to see Matrix go. To me he WAS the Suns.

But all good things must come to an end. It will be bittersweet to win a ring with Shaq, but in time we'll dwell less about Matrix and enjoy a new team with Shaq.
Suns fan during the KJ era (Coliseum), through the Barkley era (Am West Arena), and now the Nash era (US Airways Arena)!

Good thread, sad to see him go but glad we got to enjoy him for the length of time that we did. Not only a good player but from what I understand he was active in helping out the community as well. I met him once at PCL in scottsdale and he was being cool to me and all the other drunk asses coming up to him all night.... Above all a great player and athelete.

and to think most of us wanted to draft Maggette. Ha

heres a matrix graphinc I made a while back.
