Wow, we look like crap w/o Shawn.

Hopefully Shaq can give us a boost.

He was sick during the entire game... was throwing up before the game and had flu symptoms for more than a day. Boris was filling ill too. D'Antoni should had sent him home before the game and used Pike.

A win for the Suns but as a Wizard fan I think the officials fell for at least 3 or 4 flops by Phoenix, and they swallowed their whistle about 3 or 4 times Blatche was fouled by smalls inside.

Also, they didn't give Jamison even one of his funky shot calls where he gets hit as he shoots.

Considering the way the game was called I think the Wizards at least got a moral victory.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

BTW good luck on the trade.

I believe the Suns needed to do something to try to win now, while Nash's window of opportunity is open.

Gutsy move that MIGHT work. Just depends IMO on how well Shaq can run, rebound, and provide adequate defense away from the basket against guys like David West or Brandon Bass.

What I think's gonna happen is teams will use a small C to draw Shaq out on defense. He's going to have to defend screen roll well enough and then dominate in a half court.

Attempting to win like the Showtime Lakers IMO won't be easy because IMO Phoenix doesn't have the perimeter defenders w/o Marion.

Also, on the interior Amare can block Blatche over and over but guys like Oberto, Scola, and West will get him in foul trouble. Foul trouble by Stoudemire or Shaq will spell doom for the Suns.

The Shaq trade will only work if he can run the court and your offense becomes one of the most efficient of all times--which it could considering how well Shaq passes and finishes and that he's joining Nash and Diaw.

Suns will have the best passing team in the league, easily.

Am I the only one who thinks that something's wrong with Nash? Over the past couple of games, something seems 'off'....he's seems like he's half a step slow.

Maybe he's sick too?

That is what I been thinking all day too. But Nash already had it (Midnight hospital visit for IV). Maybe Coro will find out and report on his blog.

Someone needs to make an avy of those 2 blocks on Blatche :o

Not to mention last games Diaw block leading to a transition jumper by Nash ... we're still pulling out the highlight reels without Marion, we just need some quality/consistency now.

Yea I watched the highlight on NBAtv and was LMAO.

I'm downloading the video off mixmakers.net right now, I will make it an avy and put it on the sig/avy thread.

Maybe Nash has the flu, I read that Barbosa had a case of it.
