Thabo Sefolosha

Post#1 » by 49erhokie » Sun Feb 10, 2008 4:35 am

i think we should def. go after him. he is just the kinda player the suns need. remember they wanted to draft him a couple years ago but the bulls sneaked ahead of them and took em. i would give up the pick and an exception for him. whether the bulls do it i dunno.

Suns already tried to get him in the '06 draft. Chicago caught wind of their deal, then traded up to get him with Philly and sent cash their way as a way of saying thanks. He's a great glue guy and starting to come into his own. He's going to start at SG next to hinrich for them next year. No way the Suns have what it takes to get him.

Lebron James is pretty good the Suns should go after him too.

Listen up people for the 1 millionth time.

The Suns are not going to trade for anyone with any contract they have no players to trade and no draft pick to trade so stop bring up players that are employed.

We can use Diaw trade bait to get Sefolosha. Diaw for Thabo, Tyrus, Deng and Duhon.

See Thabo to me, fits the bill of a guy we could possibly and realistically trade straight up (or with say Pike for filler) for the ATL pick...

CHI might want to rebuild a little and that ATL pick could be nice...

Others in that mould I think are Villanueva, Delonte West, Azubuike etc

If Thabo comes here for the ATL pick..

who loses out on minutes?

The way I see it, its either Barbosa, Bell who goes/loses minutes if Thabo comes here.

Thabo looks like he will be more than solid, he is a big guard with length who still is improving a lot in the offense side of things... Pippenesque.

If I was going to go after him, maybe if the Suns dont win it all.. and try to rebuild..

But Bell's intensity and heart is too important right now.

Thabo won't come here that trade will never happen

He would ride the pine he might take a few minutes from Diaw but no LB or Raja.

The Bulls would not trade Thabo for the Atlanta pick right now. If it were a top 10 pick, then maybe (but then I'm not so sure Phoenix would do it). The Bulls really like Thabo. He's the starting 2 guard (Gordon comes off the bench).

I think Delonte West is the guy to target, but he's worth less than the Atlanta pick.

Front Office was set to plow forward with the Marion-esque line up with no changes....and now we have addressed an achilles by acquiring Shaq.

I think we add a minimum contract as mentioned....and keep the pick. It makes financial as well as tactical sense. With a healthy squad, there are no minutes available.

Sign Pops...or one of the big kids who Spring Balled with us.
What ? Me Worry ?
