Pietrus should just STFU, collect the remainder of his 3.4 mill paycheck, and focus on next yr. His price tag all but eliminates any chance for us to add him.

I cannnot see Phnx signing anybody who will be a sought after FA next yr. We need cheap contracts to balance out our Magnificant Seven's payroll, both this yr and next. Maybe someone like Petro, who is inked for 2 more at reasonable $$.

They could suit up Kerr for all I care.

Hi there.

Would you be interested in something like that?

Delonte West, 2008 1st round pick(via Phoenix Suns)

for

TE, 2008 1st round pick(via Atlanta Hawks)

Cheers Det.

The Suns are looking more at free agents or D-League players who can play small forward. I assume some one 6-6 to 6-8 who can play a little D Fence.

Delonte does not fit that, he's more of a back up point guard.

Gelabale for a 2nd round pick maybe.

On another point with the KIDD TRADE New Jersey will have too many players the will have to release some.

Possibly Devean George?

According to the ESPN beta Trade Machine you guys have three different trade exceptions. 2.9 Million from the Jones trade 8.1 from Kurt Thomas and 3.9 million from what they have listed as (null)

To expound on Det's trade offer Seattle could trade you guys Damien Wilkins or Mickael Gelable and Delonte West and the first round pick back for Atlantas pick. Damien Wilkins has the ability to opt out after this year, and Gelable is a FA after this year.

not a snowmans chance in hell of giving up the ATL pick in those deals

especially with the nets just getting stronger and the hawks hitting the skids

suns are definately keen on gelable tho

Why would the Suns want all 3 of those players contracts and take on so much luxury tax.

Suns are waiting to see if anyone gets bought out by the trade deadline or shortly after.

ie Stackhouse I was a little surprised he could get away with what he said about coming back to Dallas before he was even traded it appears
as though the NBA is looking into his comments so he may not be able to go back to Dallas

Return to Phoenix Suns
