I'm sick of hearing that San Antonio is the only team that can play fast AND grind it out. Simply not true.

That is the problem. We know the team is capable of playing tough D, at least at a relatively high level. But how many times to they do it for extended periods?

Don't get me wrong there are circumstances which are great, ala that last 5 minutes but then there are other times when you just sit back and think WTF?

I will get excited if they go out there and play well in their next five @ home. It's nice to see them get a win and all but if they don't build on this win it doesn't mean that much.

the suns just need to focus on improving. Communication on offense and defense would be a start.

I'd say the most maddening part of watching this team for the last four years has been the "potential" awesomeness.

Remember just last year, or even earlier this year, when everything just clicked from time to time and they were suddenly gods at both ends of the floor.

For one quarter.

And that one quarter makes you think... damn... if only...

yep, that's been my frustration. They lack any semblance of consistency. They've got all the talent and skill they need, it's just a matter of being "on" for 48 minutes in 82 games.

You can't EXPECT a team to be "on" for 48 minutes for 82 games, though. That's unrealistic and frankly, I don't want to be "on" in the regular season. I want to be "on" in the playoffs.

Let them start to get hot from here on out and ride the wave through the postseason.

i couldnt agree more, the suns are well set up to be peaking and hitting their stride right as the playoffs are starting. as opposed to several teams that have already and/or are peaking. Lakers, Hornets, Rockets, all fit in that category.

we shouldnt be too down after some of the bad losses so shouldnt be too up after this win. im more looking at the overall chemistry improvements game to game and im very encouraged by what im seeing.

Wohho stoked we won

Didn't get to watch today but checked the scores in the afternoon as was very pleased

Ddin't know we were going to crank out the Los Suns Jerseys but they looked tight from the pictures I've seen

Rebounding numbers = win

Went to the game and it was a great game to watch. Shaq stepped up huge, Nash played solid, Hill hit key shots, and Amare finished them off in the end drawing key fouls.

I continue to be really worried about our bench. Our extra 2 "starters" in Diaw and Barbosa continued to piss everyone off at the game. I've seen enough of Giricek to want him buried on the bench.

I sure wish Coach D would give DJ and Skinner just a little PT, eliminate Giricek's time, and cut back and Diaw and LB's time a bit. Oh well I could wish...

Oh, I know. And other teams do it sometimes, too. But the Suns' "peaks" have been at another level entirely from the rest of the league. I know that it's because we've relied on shooters, who can and will go through good and bad patches.

Still -- as much as I understand, I do wish...

BTW, I like the way the playoffs would be set up if the season ended today.

We would play Houston, which is the "easiest" matchup considering they don't have Yao for the rest of the season. They're kicking butt now but I think they'd miss his presence in the postseason. Then we'd play the winner of SA/DAL, which is a win-win either way because one team would be knocking out the other. At the same time, the Lakers would have to play GS and Utah would play NO. Both NO and Utah give us fits and it'd be great to have one of them out. Also, the Lakers would have their hands full with both Golden State AND whoever they would face if they advanced to the second round.

Obviously it's be careful what you wish for, but as of now, it looks the "most favorable". You guys think GS would give the Lakers trouble?

LA owns Golden State, but I think they could make it interesting.
