Check this out, it's Wilbon talking to Nash, it's good stuff.
Try not to overreact to his last comment, though. But yeah, good interview.

Yeah, espn radio was making a big deal about his not caring comment. I think it was taken in the wrong context and completely blown out of proportion. Anyone who watches Nash play knows he cares about winning. He was just trying to downplay the importance of winning a ring. I think it's extremely important to him.

i actually read ALOT into nash's comment
ALOT that we should all learn from that is.......
Its a game, not war. The whole point is to give 300%, give all you have, try your absolute tail off to be the best you can be, but if your best isnt as good as someone elses best, or you fail for other reasons, it doesnt make your life worse, it doesnt mean all the truly important things in your life like family, friends etc are gone, it just means you didnt win a basketball championship
but you go home, and do what you can to win a "life" championship by being the best person, father, son, leader, community member that you can be
I am as die hard as fans get, but winning ISNT everything at the end of the day.
Obviously im a little clucky being a new father and all but you know I wouldnt trade my son for 100 suns championships, so if we dont win one, i just need to look at him to be happy
thats how insignificant it all really is in the scheme of things
to nash for being man enough to say it

i thought ppl made a big deal out of it.
i think he just meant, he's not jumping off a cliff if he doesn't win.
i mean chuck didn't win a championship, and despite the crazy things he says on tnt, he seems like a dude that is really enjoying life and giving back to the community.
i think nash is grateful to be where he is at in his career, because he's gone through a lot..and you know, he was robbed last year!

That is how ESPN makes money... blowing plays or remarks out of proportion.
