Let's Expose The ESPN/Hollinger/Rankings etc as Cheese!

Post#1 » by Christine-In-AZ » Sun Mar 16, 2008 3:47 am

Is anyone else out there wondering how this yahoo John Hollinger is able to concoct ...and distribute his goofy NBA rankings/playoff odds to the masses?

Have you looked at his "playoff odds" lately? They're insanely whack! Yet Hollinger gets full pub from ESPN. I'm not going to quote exactly, but it's freaking wierd/sad...with PHX and SA (and more wierdness) getting like 100 to 1 odds to win it all...I could go on and on with the goofy stats his formula(s) produce but the point is this ESPN ordained "expert" has been given far too much latitude by spewing his "formulas" as ...well? Good formulas to assess the power of the NBA.

If you don't know, Hollinger was one of the clueless that thought the Suns should've stayed put.. that going(gambling) for it with Shaq was a dumb move. John didn't get the gold leafed obvious memo that... "YOU!..PLAY!..TO WIN ...THE GAME!!"... Hey! Dumbas John "H" that means.. (You! Play! to Win the TITLE!...dillweed!)...that the "Marion" Suns were probably only good enough for a "puncher's chance" to win it all...(Yeaaa!!! Suns! We won 60 games again...just forget the bummer we lost again in the playoffs). ...This 40 year drought had to be stopped with a bold move...force!...a force!!!!
In the end, I guess yahoos like Hollinger and his goofball rankings/formulas don't mean shisa, but wouldn't it be cool to drowned down this/his pointless/mindless NBA/ESPN drivel?

Write some acerbic comments ...write to ESPN management and say you think his formulas are pointless...Or! Just ignor them. But I'd really like to see his ugly funk quieted.

Bucher too, but that's another story.

Peace! Suns Fans!

We're on OUR way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...and you know where!

He thinks Shaq was a mistake and made the Suns worst - so of course he is going to give the Suns little hope of achieving anything. He is also narrow minded which explains why he beats the Shaq drum while ignoring what GG has brought to the Suns.

lmao...you guys do know his rankings is based on stats so if you add someone to your team or lose someone it is not going to affect your %. Your strength of schedule and your record is what the rankings and stats are based on.

If that was true then the Mav's would had advanced past the Warriors last year.
