The Nuggets are returning to Denver Sunday after the Lakers... I think the Suns should too.

Flight is only a lil over 2 hours. I have family in SA so I make the trip often enough. But I am going to stay put in PHX through the playoffs. If you thought some of the "other" posters were bad... just wait until you meet the fan base in person.

Given that they'll have fairly comfortable flight (they have a chartered flight, and such), and it's only a few hours' flight, the travel isn't that big a deal.

theres alot that goes into the trip though, moving all the video equipment, all the people associate with the team. and they all meet at the arena, bus to sky harbor, go through security on the tarmac and then the flight. it would be a time killer in my opinion. time that should be spent resting bodies and preparing for the next game.

and what do you gain? sleeping in your own bed vs sleeping in the bed of a 5 star hotel? i dont see the point at all myself.

in the nuggs case i can sort of see in the sense that maybe karl doesnt want his guys hanging around at night in LA. at least one of their guys apparently likes to partake of some spiritied beverages

I agree with seattlesun. No reason to pull our guys out. They are focused and professionals.

Plus, Amare has plans to visit Bowen at his home anyway. :)

I wonder why they are doing that. Many they have some facilities back there they want to use that the Spurs don't have.

Well the Suns do have that oxygen thinning training room (see also glass room).

Plus, there are so much time in between games!!! My lord, next game is played on Tuesday???? Then Friday? Plenty of time from Sat to Tuesday.

Weird, Suns stayed in San Antonio, even so TV said they would be returning to Phoenix. Haller and Coro were reporting from Suns practice from the AT&T center.
