The only person I would want to have if D'Antoni were to be fired would be Mark Iavaroni.

Except for the fact that Iavaroni is one of the best big man coaches in the NBA and will be able to help Amare immensely.

The former coach who recently resigned his post as executive VP with the 76ers and is looking to get back into coaching would make the perfect fit for the Suns.

Now let me preface this by making one thing clear.

I do not like Larry Brown.

Brown is a big enough 'name' to avoid being swallowed up in the giant shadows of Shaq and Amire . He could have respect from the get go. Ivaroni has the familiarity. Anyone else may find it a difficult task. I get the feeling JVG is itching for a shot. Will Avery be let go?

Sad thing is, without personel moves/additions, I don't think any of them would render much different results.

We have 4 roster spots to fill, plus #13 and #14. Every addition will be multiplied by 2 (except the MLE which = X1.5) in the payroll dept. I can't help but think, RSarver the $ Carver will be just as frugal as ever. And now he is limited on 'who' he can sell off to generate/save cash.

I don't think this is a coach's dream job, as the expectations border the 'All or Nothing' land and the ability to improve this roster seems limited.

D'Ant may be nailing the lid, but Kerr and Sarver built the damn coffin.
