They're talking about unloading Rodney Carney strictly as a salary dump. If we still have our TPEs, we should DEFINITELY make a run at him. I think he still has a lot of potential, and best of all, he's cheap:

"$1,655,760 $2,539,936 $3,568,610" are his next 3 years, and only this next year is guaranteed.

Yeah but who might we have to give up to get Brand her in Phx? Barbosa and Diaw for Brand? I'm not really liking that right now.

The "him" I was referring to was Carney, not Brand.

for sure, if the sixers want a cap dump then lets help them, carney is a great athlete and fits some of what we need

pity it looks like the twolves are going to beat us to it

Ugh... I saw that article SDU...

I'm sick to my stomach... if the Suns never made it happen then fine. I would like to at least think that we could have been involved in talks with the Sixers. We could really use that future first...

Twolves use their trade exception and get Carney and a future first. At least we're not the only team that trades future firsts for nothing.

Barbosa and Diow are way better together than Diow . :lol:

But, it was a bad choice to land Brand in the pheonix but we can't change that can we? I wish every member could have the autourit to make team rosters!

Amen to that I had that exact same thought when I saw the headline! Shows what emotional abuse we have been put through over the last few years.
