I'll have to l;ook Carroll up - don't know diddly about him.

Talking about steals - saw the Knicks/Suns SL game; Wilson Chandler is a monster. Mike D says he sees im as a Shawn type guy, play a couple of positions, finisher on fast break, etc - didn't catch much in the way of marion-type D but he looks like aplayer.
I think the Knicks are going to be a surprise this year.

jared Jordan had a couple painful turnovers - maybe he really just can't do it at this level, which is not quite the NBA. Too bad.

DJ, though, knocked a coupe of nice long shots down. His stroke is much improved

Yeah, DJ's shot is very much improved. Carrol is just a lights out shooter who can handle the point at times, sort of like a Korver with much less size and better handles and stuff. I agree with the Chandler thing, although I don't see him as a Marion type player. More of a Caron Butler type, where he's a slasher/scorer on offense and can finish on the fast break with ease, but isnt bad at all on defence (infact one of the top defenders at the SF position). Wilson would have to inpromve his defence extensively though, thats the only place he lacks right now other than shooting.

I'd be fine if we signed J-Will, Livingston, Miles and Skinner

Nash/Williams/Livingston
Bell/LB/Strawberry
Diaw/Hill/Tucker
Amare/Skinner/Miles
Shaq/Lopez

That's not a bad 14 man crew, especially if Livingston and Miles turn out.

I like that team a lot. JWill is much better than Lue, Johnson, and Carter. And he way still be better than Duhon, if his knees feel better. Livingston could end up being our point guard of the future.

Livingston wouldnt stay with us, especially if he proves he's healthy and can play when Nash misses games. We wont be able to offer him a contract big enough without hurting loosing Amare (although we do have 3 expirings in 2010 already..) Thing is, I DONT WANT diaw playing for us next year. IF ONLY the FO wouldve dumped him to LAC for a future first or something..

^You act as if the Suns haven't tried giving him away^

More like IF ONLY another team would take his contract...

If you need to use the green font for sarcasm, then clearly your sarcasm isn't good. Maybe mine wasn't, but I still ain't using the font. :D

I personally like what the suns have been doing. A wait and see approach, but be in touch with the players you are interested in. I think they jumped on Barnes at the right time, and got a very good player at a bargain price.

About Livingston and Dmiles, I think if they take a chance on anyone, it would be Livingston, and not two guys that have had bad injuries.

Yes, we have an old team that has had injuries, but honestly, almost every team is like that except for the age maybe. But when your older, and have had these injuries, you need rest and not be run into the ground since that is what D’Antoni did.

This is what I found on Livingston’s web site

Whats up family, friends and fans! An update on my progress-Im working out in chicago and have began participating in contact drills! Im too hype just to play again and to challenge somebody other than myself, EXCITING! Thank all of you again for best wishes and prayers!! I still have a ways to go to get to where I want to be with my athletic ability, but youth is my friend for now!! As far as my contract goes, I am now a free agent and will be working out for other NBA teams in the next 2 months. The clippers have shown interest in bringing me back, but I feel I must evaluate my situation and see what's best for my future, especially with Elton Brand moving onto Philly. These are exciting times for me and Im just anxious to be competing again, I tell people, and Im telling you, I FEEL BLESSED! And that I am.....I can not thank everybody that visits this website enough for keeping up with my progress...Best wishes to you all and take care

Until next time.....

Yes, as you know I'm right there with ya on the Livingston to PHX bandwagon. We need to get him here. I don't care if he can't even go 5 on 5 in practice til midseason, this is a buy-now investment. Its like stock...if you can get a share for a penny and you have any notion the company is not going bankrupt, then hell buy half the company for $500. And he seems to have enough enthusiasm and competition at the professional level seems to be his lifeblood (it was from the very beginning when he skipped out on Duke, dammit), that if there is any way, he is gonna make it happen. Throw caution to the wind, FO.
