Wow... Practically a done deal huh?

Or we could do this
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/t ... &te=&cash=
And this
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/t ... &te=&cash=

Giving us Nash, Kobe, Lebron, Amare and Gasol...

Almost seems to easy... As if, it would really happen in reality...

Besides the SUNS, who are the other teams who can offer James MAX money without trading anyone?

If the SUNS get him it won't be till after the 2010 season.

we have a decwent chance of landing a top free agent in 2010, and unlike other teams. we have the chance to win now

Only a player with at least 8 years of NBA experience, including at least 4 years with the team he is signing with, is eligible to negotiate a no-trade clause into his contract.

Huh, I didn't know that. Learn somethin new...

I doubt Suns'll get a top FA in the next few years, though the salary situation IS interesting. Shaq, Bell, and Nash(assuming the Team Option is picked up after this year) all expire after next year. Year after that Amare does(unless he declines the player option, then he expires with Nash and Shaq), then Diaw and Barbosa...

Suns really need to ditch Diaw somehow though. He's just a lead weight.

I think we'd be happy to have Diaw if Amare chooses to sign elsewhere. He did a decent Amare impression in 05/06

Is that a joke ?

Amare for Lebron would NEVER happen. I think they'd rather have Lebron playing at 50% than Amare at 100%.

 That is worse by far....but King James for STAT is a joke for both teams. The teams are built around each of these players strengths. However, LeBron would do MUCH better here than Amare would in Cleveland.

You might want to keep ideas like this to yourself from now on...it will save us from a lot more awkward moments throughout the season ;)

Yeah, this isn't happening anytime soon.

How about Shaq for that Shawn Marion guy? I've heard he's pretty good.... ;)

OK guys this totally works, let's trade Diaw for Oden and Roy. It probably works salary wise.
