It's almost a no brainer for most teams. Tucker isn't a specialist on offense or defense whereas DJ is a defense guy. No team would refuse extra defense.

Tucker probably won't get many minutes in Phoenix if any at all, but since his sitting comfortably on a guaranteed contract there's no point of him leaving. DJ on the other hand has to work for his contract, and seeing that he won't get PT here, he might as well go to somewhere he can play.

From what people have said about Singletary probably ending up in the D-League this year and not playing many minutes in a Phx uniform, it it surely unsettling. I don't like the idea of Dragic playing the bulk of the Nash rest minutes. Compared to Singletary I think it would take Dragic longer to get used to the NBA, which is why I would prefer to split the minutes between them both rather than having Dragic play most of it.

What other decent PG FA's are left out there?

Tough to agree with that considering what positions they went in the draft...HAS to be something DJ's missing. If he had better handles or anything resembling a decent shot or he could hit the 3 ball, he'd have been drafted.

I meant in a trade NOW. If you offered Houston Tucker or DJ, if neither had contracts.

DJ was no doubt a steal in that draft.

Chuck Norris is 68. Does he look like he is out of gas?

we pretty much got our $500k back that we contributed to the Dragic buyout. Smart financial move I would say. Sean S. should give Dragic a run for his money as the backup PG.
