Give the big fella a shot...I want to see him bond with the team in training camp and come out ready to dominate, or at least that mentality and hunger that he had in MIA their 'ship year

yeah seriously, let's not start counting down yet, shaq's still got this year to prove he can play with us, last year he had to adjust on the fly and i feel with training camp and everything, he'll be way better off

I could see Shaq playing one more year here in Phx, and then play another year for a good better title contender then us.

Shaq and Nash gets off the books after the 09-10 season. And Lebron has the opportunity to opt out that summer.

Some of Lebron's options:
1) Stay in Cleveland and become a god.
2) Go to the Nets or Knicks. More endorsements. Bigger and better stage.
3) Go to Phx and team up with Stat and Barbosa for a dynasty.

Only time will tell.

You forgot #4 Luxury.

4) Keep dreaming that Lebron is coming to the desert. Just like the CP3 to phx homers wrote, its not going to happen. Hes going to NY.

Man, I'll consider that offseason a success if we can retain Amare and sign one of the second tier guys(a la Joe Johnson). Getting any of the "big 3"(bosh/bron/wade) is just a pipe dream.

Hes going to NY.

I remember hearing that in the summer of 2006 all the freaking time.

I also remember when he was supposed to holdout after getting drafted by Cleveland so he can play in NYC.
