We really don't have an excuse not to get him back. I still maintain he's Raja's successor.

he will NEVER return here

he was the one who demanded a trade because he wanted more opportunities

he wont return now expecially when tucker has probably leapfrogged him in the SG position

strawbs will have to go to a bad team to get a shot

I know he probably won't come back, but I'd like him back.

Like rsavaj, I also think he could have been Raja's successor. If he works on his shot more, he could be an important part of any playoff team.

I'm just terrified that San Antonio is going to pick him up.

I can't see him returning, even though I think he has potential. I understand that they used him in the Singletary trade, but sometime scratch my head as to why he was drafted in the first place. I guess D'Antoni loves shooters and wanted another....

I too pray that the Spurs don't grab him - but then again, he is about 150 years younger than the average age of their team, so he just wouldn't work out would he.......

I think the best thing for him right now is to try to find a team in Europe where he can get regular playing time, of couse the best case scenario would be that he finds a team in the NBA but most teams are done finalizing their rosters.

I have always been unabashedly a huge fan of DJ.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring him back

I'm not even sure if he can do anything for this team, but would love to see him back. I love his potential, I love his style.
And even though he might not have been that keen on PHX before, I'm sure he would sign if they offered him a contract because I'm not sure if there.s going to be a bunch of teams banging down his door

Guy's - do you think he fills the role as a 3rd string PG or a back up SG better?

This must be depressing for DJ. Wish we could get him back. All he needs to do is refine his shooting touch and he will be another raja.

I bet he's regretting asking for that trade...thing is though, DJ will stay in the NBA, whether or not he has to make a stop at the NBDL. He won't return to the Suns, we don't need him now, but he has too much potential to be gone from the L.

And I agree with Mr. Sun, with his defensive effort and shooting prowess he could fill out the Raja model if given a chance and enough minutes and seasons.

The Rox are (Please Use More Appropriate Word) to cut him. He wuda been a very good fit in their defensive minded system, and was tearing it up on offense in basically all of their preseason games (or at least all the ones where he got legit playtime).

If the Spurs pick him up, yikes.
