Come on nevetsov, Barnes is not a 3pt specialist by any means. He meets the other criteria, but not what I was looking for shooting wise.

Its a nice thought, but I don't see it working out for us. especially if they want to go after LBJ. they will trade VC for an expiring contract.

We're giving up too much of our future. Also we lose a lot of depth at the 3, you could argue that SG can play the 3 for short periods but this trade only works if we keep the depth in the SF position. It's not worth losing depth in 2 positions just to gain a better player in one. It's not an issue of whether Carter can play or not because he's shown he still can put up numbers but it's the trade off we have to make to get him here.

I'd go with HootieRules here, I'd rather get RJ here than Carter honestly.
