PHX needs a back up PG, who...

Post#1 » by TXSun » Thu Dec 11, 2008 5:01 am

should we make a run at? The 2 Stoudmires are still out there, Damon and Salim. As I mentioned few days ago, I believe Chucky Atkins would be great here. And there's Marbury too, once he gets released. What do you all think?, who do you want in PHX?

Marbury or Atkins would be a vast improvement over Dragic the TO machine.

This could turn out to be a great situation if we can bring DJ back. Hope Kerr hasn't forgotten about him.

after this trade the Marbury thing is sounding better and better. I doubt it but a motivated Marbury could mean great things.

Randy Livingston is officially retired, the Erie Bayhawks of the D-League still drafted him in the expansion draft in hopes of him coming out of retirement. He's still out there I guess.

I too think a motivated Marbury would pay off here. He would be good with backing up Nash if he knows he will be sontending and getting a fair amount of minutes.

Barbososo will be expendable. Outside of Stat, he is he only tradable piece of value...so...

Barbososo for Tinsley PG prob solved

Tucker rejoins the Roster.

or may be on a smaller scale

Tucker for Sessions..... OT goes back to Wis...

Frank, I've tried to work such trades out a lot. Tucker for Sessions is ridiculous, the Bucks will laugh at you and then send you home. Barbosa for Tinsley is an option, but we'd ask for a 1st in return, and I doubt we get that. 2 Seconds, and maybe both teams do it...

I want SWilliams + Dooling for Barbosa

Solves the backup PG on a decent deal, also a good defender.

Add another defensive minded guy with some talent in Williams...

What about trying to pry away Jannero Pargo from overseas? He's a lockdown defender at the point guard position, and he can also play along side Nash. Lets say they do pick up Pargo, or Marbury then there's are chance to trade Barbosa for a big man.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Barbs + Cha pick for Blake + filler..

Blake + Fernandez works, as does Frye + Rodriguez.. but Kerr would have to pull one helluva Pritchard maneuvre for either of those to happen.
