- -that 05/06 team literally featured one guy maximum in the paint...Nash could go wherever the hell he wanted
-Nash has lost a step or two since that year...he was making some ridiculously acrobatic finishes, causing Clyde to yell "STEVE NASH WILL NOT BE DENIED!"
-Eddie House was pretty good for us that year! He could hit his open shots, and actually wasn't terrible as a point guard.
-really, that wide open lane and spacing made for some incredibly efficient offense; we were down by 13 at one point, but late in the fourth with like 40 seconds left I think crawford misses a shot, Nash, House and Marion start running the break w/o calling a timeout. Nash gets in the lane b/c nobody's clogging it up, throws it up, and Marion slams home the lob. thrilling stuff...it was marion's second alley oop of the quarter that I saw. Marion was such a beast.
-Boris Diaw was a lot skinnier back then, but his court vision doesn't seem like it's changed
-Kurt Thomas was great for us. Played tough D, rebounded, threw OUTLET PASSES(i forgot he did that), and flopped, which is okay if you're on my team
-James Jones really was useless that year...weird how he exploded once he went to Portland
-Pat Burke was a good rebounder, but dude kept getting rookie calls

I know, right? I'm not implying that the game was rigged....actually, yes, yes I am. The final free throw disparity was 16 free throws attempted for Phoenix, 54 attempted for New York! 54 to 16! That's not in any way "normal"
Anyways yeah, just felt like posting since I got all excited/nostalgic that the 05/06 Suns were on. Let's hope tonight's game ends with a different team winning.
