I honestly can't believe we didn't make a play for this guy with the Vet Min and he ended up falling to a rebuilding team like the Grizzlies. He's only 27 too! He's like Raja Bell when he was in Philly. Uses his feet well on defense to stay in front of his man.
If we don't make a trade for him I would seriously hope we sign him next season maybe with the LLE. He's exactly the type of player we need. Defends quick PG/SG's which no-one on our team is capable of doing these days. His shot has improved quite a bit since he started out with the Clippers and shoots 3s at a decent clip.
I remember him during our play-off series against the Clippers and i was pretty impressed with the way he guarded Nash and worked for spots on the offensive end. I know we'd all prefer to get a Vet PG but I really think we should look at this guy as an alternative. He would free Barbosa up to take the worst offensive PG and allow him to concentrate on his offense. Maybe use Tucker as bait to trade for him considering Tucker fits into their rebuilding phase and QRoss fits into our "win now" mode.

We were going to trade a 2nd rounder for him at the deadline last year, and then the Clips called it off. I'm still mad that we didn't sign him this summer.

That's exactly what I would offer right now, a 2nd rounder. I dunno if he's available, he's getting 20 mpg.

I remember thinking we had him last year, would be a really strong, cheap addition. I wouldn't hesitate offering Tucker for him or a 2nd rounder
