JVG would be ideal IMO... VERY defensive minded coach, and thats exactly what this team needs, a veteran coach that teachs them how to play team D. But it prob wont happen....

wow it kills me to see my west coast squad struggling so badly.
Like many here I blame Porter and his inability to devise a defensive scheme to fit the players. I also blame him for not doing more to make the marriage of shaq and Amare work better than it has.
JVG imo would be a good coach for you guys. Yeah he's very defensive and anal at times but, as the KNICKS coach he got the most out of a similarly defensively challenged squad.
Spree was the only guy on the team that could guard his man. Charlie Ward, Chris Child, Alan Houston were constantly manhandled by the competition. In Houston's defense, he often gave as good as he got but, I think you guys will get the point. Jeff would devise a defensive scheme that would take advantage of the teams strengths.
