Seriously? This is a guy who said he wants to be on superstar level of Kobe and Lebron and when the s**t hits the fan, "Oh, I can't take all the responsibility." Grow up already! Nash has NEVER had problems taking the blame for a loss and while losing is almost always because of the team collectively, he has no issues with taking all the responsibility.

Sure, he can't be blamed for everything because a lot of things aren't his fault (Kerr/Sarver/Porter) but doesn't saying what he said just removes himself from the team concept? What a stupid thing to say. And that's from someone who wants to be "the Man."

Despite what Amar'e is saying there is a lot of responsibility to Nash.
Nash is the captain on the floor he is the two time MVP, however he has proven that he has not bought into the Porter Philosophy. So, If the Suns do not move Porter than the one that has to move is Nash. In any other business if you have a manager that will not buy into the company policy he has to go. As far as Amar'e is not trusted as the Captain of the team. Once again Nash has the MVP hardware. Shaq has the MVP hardware and the rings so it's really hard for him to be the captain. Amar'e is being made the scape-goat in this situation.

Suns if you don't move Porter You must move Nash the two don't coexist.

What is happening to the Suns? I hate to see this. I usually never react so quickly, especially with a GM. I usually say give them at least 4 years, but Kerr has to go and he has to go now. I lived out in Detroit during much of the Matt Millen era.
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved

Kind of hard for your captain to crack on ya for not playing any defense....when he doesn't either.

Now, if the discussion was about effort, I could see a one sided conversation.

I actually don't think it's fair to insult a tick like that; you can't really measure IQ for a non-sentient creature and ticks, unlike Amare, at least perform their basic duties and fill their f'g role properly without complaining. They find some juicy creature (be it deer or human) and they suck the damned blood out of it.

Amare does a lot of leeching, sure, like all the energy out of our fan base, but that's not the same thing, because that's not what he is SUPPOSED to be doing.

So Tsherkin, in your honest opinion, if you were Pat Riley would you trade Beasley/Marion for Amare? You think Amare would work with Wade and make the Heat contenders?

As a Heat fan, I'm very worried about this guy's attitude, lack of D, and lack of intelligence.

I can't believe the Suns are in this state so quick. But if they're smart (kerr has so far proven otherwise) they could get some very good young talent and draft picks by trading Amare, Shaq, and maybe even Nash.

He is being made a scapegoat -- rightly or wrongly. And I can't entirely blame him for starting to crack a little bit publiclly amid all these rumors.

Doesn't change the fact that this team is likely better off without him.

--- report on Hoopsworld says Amare is not a problem in terms of chemistry, is well-liked by the team and not the person the team blames for problems this year.
Hmmmm ..... I wonder who they *do* blame?

I think making Amare a scapegoat for all the suns problems are bull crap. I do think he is underachieving the past 2 yrs. I seen a good amount of suns games to know that Amare isnt the only person on this team that needs to "MAN UP". Nash should man up about how he lets his guy run by him evrytime. He should also man up by not stepping up when shaq is on the floor. He is the leader of this team not shaq. the reason this team has Identity issues its because the team hasnt decided who is the alpha dog. Shaq should man up how he is late at rotating. how he should just come off the bench because his fat butt is taking too much space and now nash can roam as much as he would like. J-rich should man up about how he always rotats to the wrong guy everytime. It takes a whole team to play defense but with this team the starters out side of grant hill should be blamed for how this team is struggling. If someone where to blame is should be Kerr. They traded for a guy that needed the ball on his hands and takes up a lot of space. This made nash less effective. This made amare less effective by making him into a jump shooter. Kerr should just admit that he traded for the wrong guy. I think Marcus Camby is a better fit than Shaq.

whatever the case maybe Amare there is no one the suns can trade for that is better than amare. there is AL jefferson but thats a pipe dream.

I say If u want amare to be traded, try to propose a trade that makes the suns as good if not better. it has to be realistic too.
