I don't think Lou Amundson would be effective against the former MVP....

We'll get bounced in the first round so dont feel to bad, but what the hell is up with the Suns fans, that place is like a cemetery and it use to have so much energy I would hate the Mavs playing there it was a dog fight trying to fight that noise.

It's not like the Suns have alot of youngsters to develop, put the guy in for decent minutes and see if it works before you're eliminated from playoff contention.

I was under the impression that he may not be up to "basketball" speed right now. Gentry isn't an idiot, he understands the Nash/Swift PNR advantages.

--- If Amar'e had Lou's heart he'd be the dominant player in the league.

+1.
I think guys like Amare, as talented as they are, see basketball as a job and play like it. This isn't to say they aren't passionate about it, but guys like Amundson play every game like each step onto the hardwood could be their last. I don't get the feeling that the average NBA player leaves it on the floor.
I do think Stoudemire comes out firing next year. I know everyone says this every off-season about every player, but I have to imagine that Amare is frustrated with himself, his doubters and his health.

It's a very delicate operation, as you might imagine, and you have to be very careful while healing.
he probably won't be able to work out until early summer.
With that said, and even though some people criticized his effort in rehabbing the microfracture surgery, he really busted ass to come back and I think that's been apparent the last two years.
I'm sure he'll be full-on as soon as he can - contract year and all on top of whatever other motivators
