First guy I'd target this offseason is Rasheed Wallace.
Toughness, post D, and range. Would be the perfect compliment to Amare.
have to move Shaq for something like BWallace and Pavlovic as others have said, and then MUST get a good backup PG like Atkins...

Hahahaha.
No joke!
... okay, now I'm depressed.

On Steve Nash:

Bulls fan here. Just wanted to ask a question:
I'm curious if you guys think the Suns will let Nash go after this season. If I'm not mistaken, the Suns have a team option on his contract. I was thinking that they probably won't make the playoffs and stand to lose a butt ton of money since they are also in luxury tax territory. So, I'm thinking Nash is going to announce his retirement after the season and the Suns will let him go. That would drop their payroll to about 64 mil for next year and they could just draft a PG or trade for one. Do you guys think that's a plausible or probable scenario?
If the answer to my question is yes, we do have Hinrich

They don't have problems scoring and they sure as hell don't need any of our guys for defense. Shaq for Wallace + JJ + West + Sasha would 1. gut their depth at the PF, 2. gut their depth at the SG.
+1
Any potential Shaq deal would likely be Ben Wallace+Sasha Pavlovic+maybe a 2nd rounder for Shaq, straight up. Pavlovic's contract is only guaranteed for $1 million, so that would be the financial benefit for you guys doing the trade.

Ok first off season move would be to fire Kerr, seriously I used 2 believe in this guy but he has totally destroyed our team. Is there any chance he could get canned?? If so who would you replace him with? If not how long is his contract? I just hope we don't extend it... As for our players, I really believe its time to blow it up and start all over again. Keep amare, barbs, amudson, Barnes, and the rooks, everyone else trade for expirings, young promising players, and good draft pics.. I am one of the biggest nash fans but he's defence is too bad 2 overcome now, so I would rather have dragic get more playing time to develop and move Nash to a place where he can compete and maybe have a chance to win... It's gonna be some tough years after this but eventually we'll be back.

Keyon Dooling
Sean Williams
Both would fit run and gun perfect...I never like Dooling, but he's got good size and his shot has improved dramatically. Williams runs really well and would excel wiping up Amare's mistakes on D...
I'd even like Hassell here...Nets have some decent pieces, not sure what we can offer outside of Richardson + BLopez...

Pretty funny but Gambo still has a woodrow over an Amare trade with Golden State. Heard him talking about it again yesterday. Also said that he thinks Amare, Nash and Shaq will all be moved this summer. Not that I believe him but that would be very interesting.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Riley take a shot at Amare again this summer if he's available. Beasley is starting to look good.

Shaq + Tucker for Ben + Sasha + West if we can.
What do you guys think of J-Rich for Deshawn Stevenson, Etan Thomas + Filler? I think it works VERY well for us.. Resign Barnes, use the option on Lou, and we're set.
Wallace/Thomas/Lopez
Stat/Lou/Lopez
Barnes/Dudley/Sasha
Stevenson/Barbosa/Sasha
Nash/West
West is the perfect compliment to Nash, because he can defend very well at the PG position, and hes a great slasher. Stevenson is also a great slasher, can hit 3's, and he's a good defender too. Our starting lineup would lack defense from our 2 stars, but that's about it. The only other bad defender on the team would be Barbosa, and he gives his all; sometimes.

There will be a lot of FA's this off season as well, and I think a player like Anthony Parker (TOR) would be a good p/u if we could find a way to do it.....
Since we still need a good b/u for Nash as Dragic has promise but is nowhere near ready, what do you guys think of this trade ???? Saves a little money, solves a problem at b/u pg. ????http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=dy6vgf
