My last post of the night - jamal mashburn is an idiot.
I really get tired of guys who's "opinion" consists of a gumbo of what he read elsewhere, and that some months ago. "The Suns are toast, they don't play defense and blah blah etc."
Hubie was astute enough to note that while our defense is still nothing spectacular, we have shown improvement and have a lineup we can field that is tough defensively.
It just continually astonishes me how little you need to know to be an "expert" in the media.

Yeah he pissed me off too. I yelled at my TV saying "Hey douchebag, we TRIED playing defense early on in the season and it killed our offense and nothing happened on defense. Our attempt to play concerted defense FAILED and has pushed us on the brink of elimination now because we lost so often with Porter. STFU"

well guys I was on such an emotional high last night that I couldn't post even though I wanted to. What a great win for our team, no Amar'e, no LB and we've managed to win 6 straight and stay within 3 games of Dallas. Again it was a total team effort. Starting with GHill with back2back 20+pt games. Then Lou & Dragic off the bench scoring in double digits. Nash having a double/double. Shaq also with a double double but best of all 4 of 6 from the FT. JRich going 3/5 from down town. Stro came in and gave us 4 quick points. Dudley's bball IQ and Defense was also a big factor that doesn't show up in the box score. And finally our bad boy Barnes, on fire in the 2nd half + trying to contain a much bigger Okur who went 6-17 for only 15 points. I believe!!!

Didn't Roy drop 52 on Raja? Not saying it wouldn't be nice to have him, but I don't think anyone can slow down Roy.

We have to win this game b/c there's pretty much no way we beat Utah in their own arena.

Nope, J Rich was defending Roy so it was obviously after the Raja trade. Bell Certainly does own Roy though...
