And Shaq. He is really a liability against most teams because of his lack of quickness and floor coverage.

steve nash is still one of the top pgs in the league. suns = nothing (20-62 team) without him.

this game goes squarely on G-Hill. The turnover out of bounds, and the 4 point play he gave Kirilenko. Meh. Sucks.
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

really, Hill has played at All-Star level during this run and out of 80+ games, name another where he was a liability. If sure Einstein had to erase a few equations in his day ...

It was a heartbreaker but they really had no business getting back in the game after being down 21. I'm proud of them. let's face facts - it is an outside bet for them to make the playoffs but this stretch has been invaluable for blooding the young guys, seeing what our bench has and pulling the team together. Going through the fire together this way, without barbs and Amare, is going to pay off in the long run.
Can you imagine how good we'd be with Stat and Leandro in the lineup?
We draft well, make a couple tweaks, add some defensive schemes to minimize the deficiencies and we're in good shape

After assisting on Memo Okur's three-pointer that made it 88-86 with 50 seconds left, Williams hit two jumpers to force overtime. The last one was a 15-footer after he passed to Ronnie Brewer, whose pass back was deflected.

Luckily for the Jazz, Williams picked it up and scored. "I passed it to Ronnie Brewer and I thought he was going to be able to get a shot off," Williams said, laughing. "But he got a little scared with the ball and kind of threw it out there. I picked it up and knew I had Steve Nash on me. I thought I could get a shot over him so I let it go."

i'm pretty sure that statement is referring to steve nash's height and therefore inability to be an effective shot blocker.

this sucks, i miss Amar'e dunking over fools like Boozer and Aldridge/Przybilla. That moron that injured Amar'e from the clippers, i hope he looses a limb. I think Dudley should start at SF from here on out.

Inability to make the shooters feel pressured, to be more precise. "Nash sucks" was some fans' attempt to ridicule justified criticism about aspects of his game and about coach's no action to minimize its impact with games on the line. In most close games, Nash was involved in some of those "opposing team clutch scoring to beat the Suns" highlights. But if you point them out and ponder some way to avoid those breakdowns, you are a hater. :P

nash can be a liability on defense in close games, but his clutchness and offensive contributions in nail-biters outweigh the liability on defense. the suns just need better help and team defense.
