lol Mary at his finest. I thought he had something good to contribute for once when he said we should throw the whole MLE towards Sessions, which I think he would be worth way more than that in a season or two, and then he comes up with a S&T Amare for Sessions . . . + picks.

Nash
Iverson
Richardson
Stoudemire
Shaq

Never. I would rather have Dragic playing the 2 than Iverson. The LAST thing we need is more offense as evident by the number of 120+ pt games we've had WITHOUT Amare.

@hitachi7
I'm with you. I actually really wanted to get Artest on this team last season. I think there were some trade proposals that included Marion. I don't think there will be chemistry issues to be honest, he's behaved all year. I don't think he's worth 12-13mill, he's probably worth about 7-8mill over 5 years but with the economy not being great and all, I think he may have to settle for a full MLE. He's still a lock-down defender and can play/guard and play 3.5 positions which we missed since we traded Diaw. We won't be able to get him for the type of money we got. Unless! Unless, they take JRich off us with a S&T since I don't see them resigning T-Mac which would leave them with a gap at the 2. But it's unlikely

I too would consider that. We'd be set in the back court and Amare would have the whole paint to himself to deliver bucket loads of hurt but at the same time we still be getting rebounds and blocks. I just don't like BD's contract, it was obviously a mistake signing him to such a huge contract. Shaq shouldn't be too tough to move since he's an expiring, but with the way he's playing, it'll be tough for us to lose his post presence.

Perhaps some one can outline our capabilities first. I do not know the particulars with the MLE, but I do know we will be over the lux tax if we honor the existing contracts...and still be 3 men short.

Sign and trades may be the only way we can obtain anyone off this list... and even then, with this ever present quest to be under the lux tax, we will need to trim some fat.

Please, some one enlighten us, before this wish list gets outta hand.

--- Well, based on the results this year of best offense in the league and no defense, how does that plan look to you?
