I will take my chances on Amare. If he can see again, he can play again. Far as I know, he can see out of that eye. As for the knee injury, you never know how someone is going to come back from that, PLUS If Amare doesn't heel, he has one year left on his contract, if Al doesn't come back right.....How many years does he have left???? So for everyone to assume that this was a Suns take all trade is sadly mistaken. We will see how this ends in the very near future. I think it will end in a omg, I am glad the Suns didn't make that trade. But that is just me :)

I'm sure glad you're more informed than Amare Stoudemire's own doctor on the severity of Amare's injury. Now he's slowly progressing with it, but the eye injury isn't just no big deal. It's rather serious. There's the threat of a cataract forming if the fluid doesn't drain properly. Now the articles I'm seeing are a couple weeks old, but that was a fear then. Hopefully for his sake that's gotten better. Cataracts could lead to vision loss to full blinding if not treated properly. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

You're also making a lot of IF statements that fit your argument. I mean you could try doing the research, but that would probably be inconvenient.

Amare's injury is more serious than people think. Not saying he can't recover, sounds like he should be good for training camp, but he'll also be forced to wear goggles the rest of his career.

Al Jefferson is currently way ahead of schedule and according to doctors is ready to resume basketball activities at the start of August. He'll be ready by training camp.

From everything I've researched, both players should be fine at the beginning of the season. And I hope both are. The last thing I'd want to see is either player's career be ruin by such freak injuries. I'm a Wolves fan, but ultimately I just love basketball and want to see good basketball no matter who it is.

+1
Well said, and btw I dig the New Wolves Order you or one of the Wolves fans had in their sig.
I don;t envy you having Rick Kamla as a booster though ... he needs to take a pill, perhaps several. Nice guy but he's just too .... chirpy

When Marion was moved ALL Marion related media (adverts and vids etc) was taken down asap
Bell and Diaw were traded and I remember Raja's pool ad was gone
When Porter was sent packing, the ad on there was goneski

There are 2 Shaq ads and a video, a Nash video and a Nash ad. There are NO Amare features, at all...which I find interesting

that is a great observation... do you mean ads just on the homepage? because i didnt see any amare on there and now im curious to find out if this observation is true haha

you're exactly right. his eye injury is not a joke it is rather VERY serious. i don't know the doctor directly but my uncle is best friends with the doc... and apparently the injury is healing right now at a good rate but is very vulnerable to turning bad very fast.

How dare me say....Amare is going to be fine. HE CAN SEE!!! I know it makes for great drama and all, but his eye is fine. And my uncle's brother former roomate is Dark Helmet's previous doctor four times removed.

Love the SpaceBalls reference, but when his own doctor is concerned and expressing caution, I think it's safe to say that it's kind of a big deal. Not that he can't recover from it, but that it's more than just the hang nail you're treating it as.

Honey I shurnk the kids franchise, and it was over. What about Strange Brew?? Hilarious.

On Amare, obviously any eye surgery is serious, period. But, I am an optimist.

Inspector Tastic ..... Is he on to something ? Considering NASH is the face of this franchise... and Stat has been moved to third chair care of THE BIG PRESS RELEASE... I am not surprised there is little promo room for Amar'me....

Now if they r e m o v e d Stat after his latest Me-Me-Me tour... may be the smoke has fire

BUT, its clearly the best amare trade ive heard about in a long time

better than JJ hickson and wally :-)

This is pretty much where I am at with this rumors. I, personally, will be depressed if Amar'e is shipped. But if he HAS to go, because he is soooooo f-ing horrible of a player, then this is the trade to do.
